All 9 Golden Heroes!

Just got my 500th win with Warrior, completing my set of Golden Heroes! Yes, I made a post just to brag, but I'm really proud of it. Ok, enough about me. Who else wants to brag?

  • Congrats! I have yet to get a single one, and I’ve been playing since Beta. (Admittedly I don’t play often and don’t ladder much so there’s ya go)

Same here: playing since Vanilla, highest heroes are the Hunter at 92 wins and the Mage at 71 wins. At this rate, Hearthstone will shut down before I get one done lel

      Either-way, congrats OP :)

  • Damn that's impressive and it makes me jelly. Congratulations, Pezman!

  • Congrats!

now to convince blizzard to give us more win rewards ... :

  • Congratz! Takes dedication to make it, and you did it!

  • Gratz!

I hope to have them all by the end of next week. I have about 75 wins to go...

    Congratz again!

  • Nice job. I've had three for ages (rogue, priest, mage) and am fairly close with hunter, druid and paladin. I doubt that ill ever get 9 though- nothing is worth the damage it would do to my soul getting to 500 wins with warrior lol

  • Xd

  • Got only Priest, but agree 500 wins with Warriors is masochism (only have like 50-80 on it) but pretty close on the others

  • Good job! I currently have Mage and Paladin, with Rogue being a relatively close one at 300 something wins

  • Congrats! Way to go for me too.

I've resently finished shaman golden, makes my golden count 5. Paladin, Hunter, Warlock, Mage, Shaman (in the order of obtaining).

Don't know  which one I should do next. Druid is probably ahead with about 380 wins. Long way to go. Shaman costed me about half a year for like 200 wins. :D

Congratz man! You should be, as it not easy to get all of the to golden. For that go easy, you need meta to be on ur side. I had problems sonetimes bcs i pushed some classes when they were shit in meta.

Now about bragging. Lowest wins are hunter 801 and highest is priest 1118 wins. Rest are mostly between 850-950.

  • try the dalaran heist challange now  , will take enough time to complete everything :>

  • Do you guys experience the "golden hero dilemma"? Where you always want to play a hero, you haven't in gold yet?

    • Grats! Certainly takes a while to accomplish. I was able to finally get my 9th recently as well.

Yep. After RoS released i could only okay druid and rogue, but now i am free.

  • Congratulations! I currently have three: Warrior, shaman, and druid. (In order I've obtained them)

Warlock is like half way there, and so is hunter and mage, but pally, priest, and rogue are like all less than or around 100 xD

I started playing during LoE btw.

      maybe for you, I actually have the most wins on warrior, can't remember now but I think it's the only class for me with 300+ wins ;

    • Congrats ! Well done !

Playing since the closed beta, I'm still missing aroung 70 wins with warriors. Control warrior is relatively good atm, but matches are so time consuming ...

Luckily, I have the 8 other classes golden :)

  • Congrats, OP!

Looks like I am in a minority who doesn't care about grinding golden heroes. Currently sitting at 2795 wins with Jaina and 1730 with Tyrande while Valeera and Uther are still non-golden.

  • Congrats OP! I think it is a difficult task that requires dedication and playing classes don't want to at times. I have Pala/Hunter golden at the moment and would enjoy being able to have the full cast of 9 golden characters one day!

    Good luck!

  • So many good vibes on this thread, I love it!

For those working at this goal, yes, it takes time and limiting yourself to the ones you need. I started playing around Naxx, so I've had almost 5 years to do this. My highest count is mage at 551, because I basically stop playing a class once it's golden. This is a bummer, because I like to play all classes, never really focused on any one. Early on it was no big deal, got Warlock so I can play the other 8. But I've been maining Warrior now for a few months. As Traf pointed out, games are super long with control warrior. I switched over to wild aggro mech warrior to cheese out the last 15 wins. You can hate me for that if you like, but the final win was so sweet (druid left my frothing berserker up because he had a wall of scarabs, which I cleared with a weapon, a Korkron, and an execute).

The feeling of freedom is great now, as I can mess around with whatever I like. C'mere, Guldan old buddy, I've missed you so...

Previous comment: yes, want to play only the heroes I don't have golden yet. This comment: well - it is harder on Warrior if you play control, because games take very long to end, but if you played during the Pirate Warrior era then yes, it is easier I must assume

  • Well done! I'm about 2/3 of the way

  • Grats! There was a developer discussion last year (iirc) and they mentioned the 9-Golden-Club is still the most exclusive in the game.

  • Gratz.

I have been playing since Beta and still have Shaman, Priest and Druid to go.

  • Congratulations fellow 9 golder!!!  I caught the fever when my Lock went golden way back when and then got last one soon after the start of RoS.

Yes, once you decide to go for it, rank sort of falls by the wayside.  I found myself mostly in the 14-17 range with the class I was grinding (had other net-decks for quick quest completions or used TB).  At the beginning it is easier as you pick a class that's "good" at that point but eventually you find yourself more constricted. I feel sorry for those missing only Priest right now.

I started writing down where I stood with each class at the start of each expansion.  Some fun info:  I won 0 games with warrior during Witchwood and Boomday.  I averaged around 160-200 wins per set.

My last one was druid.  I had totally missed the jade train and lucked out with the recent rise of token druid.

I also found that I picked decks that needed to be fun to play.  I accepted slightly below 50% decks so long they were fun.  This might not have been as efficient but it helped with the tediousness of playing the same thing over and over.

Yup. I only have Pally left, so I actually made my crafting decisions this release around making a few Pally decks to try and finish it out.

Congrats to the OP on the full set!

  • Congratulations! It takes a long time to get a hero golden. I've got three so far - Druid, Warlock, and Hunter. Right now I'm working on Warrior and Rogue.

  • Congrats!

Wish there was a special card back such a feat!

Which golden hero is your favourite?

It's a shame you think that way, Warrior has the best golden portrait and it's not even close :

  • Playing since K&C and I am close to my first. Mage is on 450 wins and Priest around 300 or so. Nothing else comes close to those two as all I used to play was Tempo / Control Mage and Control Priest.

IDK, 2019 seems like it's as good a year as any to brag a little about something one feels is an accomplishment. It's also a fine year to be supportive and generally awesome to each other.

  • Congrats! I think warrior will end up being my last golden too. In fact, I still don't have warrior at lvl 60! (I think I'm at 56 now)

I only have hunter and paladin golden. Working on Shammy, Warlock, Rogue and Priest next.

  • Congrats dude ! I've got 3 to go (Hunter , Druid & Warrior )
