Since Excavate is looking to be pretty good, this card looks pretty good too. I think a lot of the treasures you can Excavate are fairly low cost (haven't looked at the list in a few days), so the discount might not be super impactful. Still seems pretty valuable.

It'll see play, but its effect make it necessary for you to excavate up till tier 2 and then pray you can drop this down for a 0 mana card at tier 3.
Its not always easy or consistent, but Id imagine excavate being good so this card gets good marks if only because it does exactly what you want it to do. The 0 mana discount helps a ton too, to offset the poor stats for cost.
Nice card. You'll definitely want to use something else to excavate your common and rare treasures, though.
A strong excavate card. Especially if you've already excavated some. Good if frost wants to excavate.
I know that Excavate is getting a lot of hype, but I am not sold on the concept. This does help, as setting the cost to 0 means that you can play it along with this card, which means you aren't losing as much tempo for excavating. One of the stronger excavate cards, but has a rune requrement so won't be the most popular.

I'm not sure about this card. This seems good, but the rest of the package seems weak to me. Also you REALLY want to hit the legendary pay-off with this card, otherwise your probably cheating not that much mana. And i feel like DK has the weakest excavate package.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
