Its basically a combo enabler, but at present Ive no idea what this card can do consistently in the standard. Rainbow mage does generate loads of crap but none of them tend to win the game for you.
But of course, anything that mana cheats is bound to be broken one way or another. Fortunately team5 had the foresight of at very least not allowing those cards to be cheaper than 1, but Ive been in these tangos before. Wouldnt surprise me if this card eventually gets nerfed for something incredibly dumb.
I'm scratching my head on this one. Ok, you can discount a bunch of spells you've generated, but only down to 1. You cannot play this and Sif on the same turn and still have mana left to sling spells. Prime targets for cheap damage like Arcane Bolt already cost 1. This could theoretically go off in a big way, but I don't see what you're setting up with it.

I suppose this is decent. Probably you'll be able to do something with this and a few discounted spells, but I'm not sure how much, since you'll have to be very luck for this not to die next turn and keep the discount.
