Also, is closing your eyes considered a vision of darkness?

So just to be clear, this card wasn't intended to be revealed just yet, hence we know nothing about the "Permanently held" "Vision of Darkness" ?
Well, I'm commenting now, and not when we know what this Vision of Darkness is. I guess permanently means it stays in you hand and can't be discarded or played. It better be good to limit your hand space to nine cards.
My understanding will be the Vision of Darkness will keep returning to your hand after played. That could be great value but we'd also need to know the effect and mana cost but I have a sneaky suspicion it'll be a Shadow Visions type spell.
I love the whole concept. I love the execution; it seemed healthy at 6mana for the minion + 3mana per spell.
But they had to ruin it by making it another casino clown-fiesta discover effect. Ugh.
The perspective of suffering through 5 long sifting of discover effects per turn is mind-numbing. (because nobody would pass on the opportunity to play it alongside Radiant Elemental, right ?) Be it as the player, or as the opponent.
A shame, really.
Sister Svalna may actually turn out to be the Lady in White of this expansion.
Because there's an obvious level of power with being able to constantly generate shadow spells every turn, and since some of them have lifesteal we can argue for that 3 mana you get an infinite supply of value from removal to healing.
But at the same time you're essentially spending 6 initial mana to do nothing and thereafter 3 mana just to get an option. Not only is this extraordinarily slow, it doesn't actually win you the game, so you still need a plan beyond merely removing for days. There being so many faster win cons nowadays (or just one Sire Denathrius that's everywhere).
Might get better, but more likely be redundant to priest's gameplan.
Food for thought but would Haunting Nightmare enchant it permanently so it summons endless 3/3s?
Honestly, this makes me really fucking angry that they insisted on bringing Radiant Elemental into Standard. This could have been balanced at a 2-mana vision, but because the glowy yellow fucker enables some dumb infinite combos they had to keep it at 3-mana which makes it basically worthless in any situation where you don't have Elemental on the board unless you're desperate for an answer.
Here's hoping they retire Radiant in the next Core set and buff this so it can actually see play.
Okay after seeing the theorycrafting, this is a 5 star card. This + Radiant Elementals and Psyfiend looks like a very good OTK.
Infinite value generating queen on the surface, but then you remember Radiant Elemental is in the game and whisper "Oh God."
Crazy combos incoming with this one, I'm sure of it!
