What are your Uldum crafting priorities?

Hi all.

Now that the meta's starting to settle, and the first vs report and kripp's crafting guide are out, I'd be interested to know what you're planning to craft, or have recently crafted.

For me, I'm planning to craft zephrys, dinotamer brann, plus one of snake trap, rat trap and masked contender, which will give me a good highlander hunter deck. Will also craft 2 x psychopomp for a combo priest deck. Gonna hold off until I unpack 1 more legendary though, in case I get anything I need from packs first.

What about you?

  • Well, after dropping Zephrys the Great and crafting Bazaar Burglary, I guess my expenses are mostly over already.

    There would be more cards I'd like to try, like Anka, the Buried, or even just Zul'jin or Kazakus (for Warlock), but then I should also craft many more expensive cards, and I can't really afford that (if I want to save something), nor am I sure the move would turn into Wild-viable archetypes, and/or that they would fit my typical playstyle.

  • Idk man, i've save up about 6k dust but those fun decks are really way above 10k dust or something.. i got King Phaoris out of pack but i dunno where to put him (mage nerf incoming) and i dunno if Siamat is worth it.

    So i think i'm gonna craft Zephrys the Great (because he is SO FUN) and maybe a Quest with some cheap build around cards so i can join the fun, maybe like  Bazaar Burglary or Corrupt the Waters.

  • Well so far i've crafted everything i wanted and did not get in my packs - so right now i do not have any crafting wishes.

    Zephrys the Great is awesome (and fun) - one of the best cards (if not the best) in the Set - of course if you know how to play him :)

     

    King Phaoris is pretty Good in Highlander Mage and the Deck itself is also pretty decent! 

    Highlander Hunter is also pretty good - way better than i expected - i personaly run a Highlander Mech Variant instead of the Secret Variant (i only run 2 secrets in the list) and it´s doing pretty good. 

    • Hey that highlander mech hunter sounds pretty interesting - I've not seen anyone playing that variant. Can you post a decklist?

    I was very lucky with 80-pack opening and I got almost useful legendary cards from this set :)

  • Zephrys the Great and Zola the Gorgon for my wild renolock

    and Armagedillo for my wild quest warrior (old quest)

     

  • Since I didn't get them from packs, I crafted Zephrys the Great and Siamat because they're probably the "safest" crafts out there. Siamat feels a little overrated though, but still useful. 

    I'm still thinking about crafting Shudderwock for a Quest Overload Shaman. 

     

  • Zephrys seems like a must craft, if you don't already have him from packs. I was initially put off him as the highlander route is pretty expensive, given that most builds tend to run a lot of legendaries and I'm a budget player. However he seems to be being run increasingly in non-highlander builds as a late game value bomb, plus he's so damn fun!

    Still holding out for my next legendary from packs though, just in case I get lucky. I opened a psychopomp this morning, one of the other cards on my wishlist, so my crafting abstinence seems to be paying off.

  • I may spend 6400 dust for Reno mage... it‘s the last class i‘m missing plenty of cards and i want to fill in the ranks finally. Lunas Pocketgalaxy, Archmage Antonidas (this one is overdue for a long time), Kalegos and Reno ... i‘m afraid of the nerfs though. I

  • Crafted already everything I wanted:

    Zephrys

    Siamat

    Brann

    Elise

    Tortellan

    Puzzlebox

    Fel Lord Betrug (opened Warlock Q and Kibler seduced me...)

    Many golden copies had to die for these crafts...

    However, still interested in Reno and Pala Quest...

  • I have all the cards I want but if I didn't I would definitely hold off crafting mage / warrior cards.

     

    I reckon those two classes are going to see a big swing with the nerf bat. You could argue that you'll get refunds but Blizzard don't always nerf the expensive card and are well known for nerfing cheaper cards that make the expensive ones redundant.

  • I have already crafted Bazaar Burglary, Brightwing (for the same deck) and Zephyr, Siamat, Brann for HL hunter. I think that's about it for this exp, but if some interesting deck comes up, will craft for that too. 

  • Legendary-wise, I have two that I still really want, which are Corrupt the Waters because it's good and I want it for Wild , Dark Pharaoh Tekahn which I've been running on an alt account and having fun.  For quests I still need Activate the Obelisk and Supreme Archaeology as well.  For the Explorers I still need Elise the Enlightened and Dinotamer Brann.

    There are a few epics I would like to have, but none that I absolutely MUST have at the moment.  Like History Buff, for example.  He could be a fun addition to a C'Thun deck as a way to either make your C'Thun buffing minions more playable, or to add extra buffs to the Old God himself if he's in your hand.

    Other than those I've crafted everything I need/wanted during the first couple weeks.  Zephrys the Great was of course crafted immediately after I opened all my packs and he wasn't in them.  Especially since I opened Reno the Relicologist and at least one of every other mage card in the set.  Finally cracked and crafted Luna's Pocket Galaxy to go in the deck.

    Hoping to get my last lego soon, and maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be one I want so I can save the dust. I have over 8k dust, just want to make sure I put it where I REALLY want it. 

  • Would really like to craft Zephrys and Reno, but I'm pretty sure Mage is gonna get nerfed and I'm not sure whether Highlander Mage is worth playing without the two "I win" buttons called Conjurer's Calling and Pocket Galaxy

    I'd also love to play some sort of Control/Taunt Warrior but I'M not gonna craft anything in that direction until the inevitable Warrior nerf.

    Other than that I'm still waiting where the meta goes so I'm either getting Highlander Hunter stuff (Brann, Zephrys and Siamat) or Anka to play around with Deathrattle Rogue.

    Also really hoping for someone to find a working Zoo Priest deck because I have no interest in just playing Divine Spirit cheese
