Mercenaries doesn't seem to be working for me. All the icons are blank and cannot be clicked on. Issue is on my gaming laptop, but not mobile. Rest of Hearthstone works fine. Any ideas?

Normally I'm not the guy who shows off the stuff he made, however I belive that I'm not the only one that thinks a Mercenaries fangame would be cool, so I made one and am sharing it here.

Just a quick brag thread here (but also encouragement for my fellow Merc players). Yesterday I maxxed out Murloc Holmes, completing my collection of maxxed out mercenaries. I spent very little money on this mode (2 bundles early on, both in the $15 range), and just a lot of grinding. When the excess coin exchange arrived, I traded in for around 30,000 Renown. I now have about 1,000. Also have 73 packs saved up for future content drops. 

There is hope my friends! Yes, there are major problems with this game mode (bots in the pit, diminishing returns on coins, no pity timer on legendaries, etc.). But if you have fun playing it, keep going! The grind may be a slog, but at one PvP win per day and daily tasking, you can obtain a full set of maxxed out mercenaries. And there are lots of fun, competitive squads to play. I regularly encounter comps I haven't seen before, and sometimes I try them out myself!

This keeps happening to me: between rounds, I place Maestra in the optimal position, then she moves over right after I click "ready," ruining my strategy. Has anyone else encountered this?

I had planned to finish the event this week, only to find out it has ended already. If they care so little about Mercenaries that they're not willing to properly correct this mistake by re-enabling the event until the previously announced end date, then I think I'll take the hint and stop playing this mode.

Has anyone had this happen? I'm super pissed right now, because 2 of my mercs had their equipment changed somehow, and I lost a match because of it.

If you want the details, I'm playing Old Gods almost always, Y'Shaarj with the extra attack on Rage Unbound, C'Thun with gaining stats on bench. When I summoned C'Thun in the late game, he was base stats and summoned the tentacle. I certainly never changed this equipment myself, but when I went to the collection after, sure enough, both were set to the wrong equipment. Changed them back, then won the next game.

WTF?

As the title says: I just hit the rank 1000 floor and my reward chest had 3 coin drops instead of 5. What BS is this?

Hey mercheads! Just in case you didn't notice this already, the Acolyte of N'Zoth bounty in Darkshore now awards coins for Finley and C'Thun. I've been beating it on normal twice daily (for the Toki task) and netting coins for those two upcoming new mercenaries. 

I'm also looking for help in PvP. Suddenly pirates are dominating the meta. The Patches/Vanessa/Smite synergy is absolutely insane. Does anyone have a good comp to suggest for beating them?

Ahh brightwing, the lovable fae dragon that used to be the big shot, now is mostly unused, here are my ideas for buffs.

1. Brightwing's Necklace should give at least +3 more health.

2. Pixie's Pouch should have been "Pixie Dust restores 4 less health but has no cooldown"

Illidan Stormrage

"You are not prepaired!" yeah, although I thought about your buffs in advance.

1. Blade Dance should be 4 random enemies.

2. All of his abilities are now Fel.

3. Winged Assault gives +3 attack.

Uther Lightbringer

Imagine dying, cringe

1. Libram of Sacrifice is now a Battlecry but only gives it to your Humans.

2. Blessing of Protection restores 2 more health.

Thrall

SMorc

1. For The Horde is now 5 speed, so you can now upgrade Mak'Gora.

2. Ornate Warhorn deals 7 more damage.

3. Warchief's Command does your right most minion instead. (So summons can work better, not really a buff)

That's all folks, I tried to choose mercs that most other people don't cover, and also the ones I personally think are cool.

C'thun will be coming as the last event OG. Here are my speculations.

He's Gonna Be A Fighter. It's prob true, the others were caster, protector, caster. So we are gonna get a fighter.

His long CD Skill Will Be A 20. Same thing, as fighter, n'zoth had 5 cd, next 10, next 15, then next 20 witch is c'thun.

Mechathun Portrait. I love mechathun, it's my fav art in the entire game, I hope it's the diamond version though, witch it might not be.

Beast Related. It's while possible, it isn't very likely, in world of warcraft the area c'thun is in is surrounded by bugs, bettles, etc. so it might be.

AoE Skills. He might have 'deal X damage split among random enemies' skill, just like yogg with his final skill.

 Figuring out the bosses , to me, is a two shot attempt at most. But getting to them intact? That's the trick nobody ever shows or talks about. I want to see the dozens of retries getting to the boss. At least a little more detail on how to beat the climb of these bounties would be nice. Not "This one is the easiest yet" as an answer.

Don't waste your time on that one. It says you have to kill the boss in Darkshores, but he's in Sunken City. No matter how many Pirates you bring to the boss alive. No matter if you skip all the Boons. There is no workaround and we just have to wait until Blizzard fixes it.

Wait, so you're complaining that some achievements are non-trivial? The clue is in the name: they acknowledge your ability to do something noteworthy. There would be no point in them if Blizz just handed them out for doing next to nothing.

Nobody forces you to do all the achievements, and you won't be significantly disadvantaged if you miss a couple of XP-giving ones. That wouldn't even come close to getting you an XP-level (an hence are worth <<50 gold), so don't worry about it. Just do what you enjoy doing, and stop there.

There's one at the end of the Barrens that just unlocked - it was locked yesterday. 

Not sure if there are others in other zones.

Many of you probably havn't notice it, but the community manage Alkali revealed some mercs yesterday, today and more tomorrow. She is doing this in her free time, because of the negativ feedback merc players expressed after the mini-set reveal without any mentions of the big merc update.

Those are the gifs they are going to use in the patchnotes and we have no informations about their abilities or equipments.

Yesterday I had a Deep Breath task for Onyxia and a "deal damage with Blazing Song" for Chi-Ji. So I set up Cookie's target dummies and shot with Chi-Ji on Onyxia. Now the important observation: Deep Breath is supported by the heal power, therefore heals a lot! And next turn you have 30+ fire spell damage. I had to make sure not to one-shot Onyxia with Blazing Song.

Could this work in any PVE or PVP comp? E.g. making some of thr boss fights easier?

Today I did a heroic Balinda run to finally unlock her. First thing: my Brightwing had a Equilibrium treasure that gave +2 to Nature and Fire. But BWs skill did get no buff! It still did 9 instead of 11. I can provide a screenshot of this but this is on my mobile and I have to reactivate my imgur account. Chi-Ji on the other hand also haf an Equilibrium (the one with heal power) but it didn't affect any skill, too (no screenshot).

Second: during the run I got Samuro task 18. 450 damage to heroic bosses. After the Balinda fight it was at 355/450. No screenshot of this because I did not thought it would be relevant. But trust me I chose Barrens-1 deliberately because there is a 40 and a 60 health boss. I double checked wether its over 350. And because I am making more damage than the health total (like 10 hp left, 20 critical dmg) I am on the safe side. Right? No, I ended up with 441/450? Can anyone explain this? Ok, so Iksar himself said on his last Q&A recap that they know extra coins on Mercenaries are a porblem and that they are "actively looking at solutions". So, here's my idea: converting them to regular gold (you know, the one you buy packs with).

Now, here's the biggest issue with the idea: what's the right conversion so that HS's economy doesn't completely break down? Well, that's not an easy answer, considering a lot of the resources for the game mode are either through packs, tasks or bounties. 

• Tasks give a total of 1640 coins (for himself + randoms) + 3 packs (when task 7 = equipment, the new mercs give let's say 100 extra coins, rounding up);
• Packs give mercs, skins and coins. Now, it's not easy to round up an exact number without opening a butload of packs (and I'm not gonna spend money just to know that number), but by looking at the image from the HS wiki and my own experience, you can conclude that no pack gives out more than 5*50 (so 250) coins, unless you have all the skins and open a "duplicate skin", which will be converted to 50/75/100 coins (depending on merc rarity);
• Bounties give an assortment of coins, depending on the dungeon, but they give out at most... honestly, I couldn't find how much they give and I'm not in the mood to do a Heroic run on Alterac Valley just to check how many coins we get (especially since I don't have that many maxed mercs). So, for the sake of rounding up, I'll say they also give out up to 250 coins.

So, how much gold should we get for the extra coins? I'd say, not that much, just some extra change so your time isn't completely wasted while not being so much you'd run a bot on early game bounties for insane amounts of gold. Which brings me to my proposition: For every 200 extra coins you have of a certain merc, you can redeem X gold, depending on rarity. More specifically, 5G for rare mercs, 10G for epic ones and 20G for legendary mercs.

This way, even if you were to get 250 coins of a certain legendary merc on a Merc Pack, that would be worth the equivalent of 25G: 25% the base cost of a Merc pack, i. e., the same disenchanting to enchanting rate dust has. And also, this change helps with another small inconvenience: ever since the change to the reward track, we've always received gold in multiples of 50, which means you'll always be left with up to 45 "useless" gold leftovers if you don't play arena or duels.

I'm trying to beat Galvangar heroic for the equipment. I watched Old Guardian's guides to this encounter.

First he recommends Orcs. But my Orcs are not in a good shape as I crafted Garrosh and Thrall recently. My greens are ok (Rokara and Samuro maxed) but the reds have the skills and the item on 3. Except Thrall's item is on 4. I tried 3 times but did not succeed. Even with good treasures like Warchiefs blessing. OG starts with 30+ attack on his Orcs which I could not achieve. I start with the 3 reds, do I? Do I focus Galvangar or the green add? I tried both, but nothing worked.

The second sugestion of OG for the budget comp does not help me because my own Galvangar is not playable.

Am I doing sth wrong? Is my comp to underleveled? Is there any other comp I could try?

how do I aquire the new "task 7" item? I had Natalie in my team in the Avalanchan heroic bounty (still need Ragnaros and 4 coins are missing). But I didn't get her task 7 item. It doesn't help that the bugged tooltip shows "task 6". *rolleyes*

Or is this not for the old Mercs just for Balinda, Wrathion & co?
