I've been playing this deck quite a bit, climbed from 5 to 2 so far. It's a ton of fun, and unlike a lot of decks in the meta, doesn't rely much on randomly generated cards. I replaced Leper Gnome for Dragon Egg and it is much better giving your dragons more synergy. You drop your big cards like Giant and Drake to get some early face damage and then collect your damage spells, Thalnos, and Leeroy to deal just enough damage to finish the opponent off. Lackeys give you board control early and help you survive. It's a tempo deck with a burst damage finish. It runs away with games if it wins the board.
Of course u replaced it with dragon eggs. Its literally the version he ended up playing more. This list is outdated. Ive commented below that he replaced the gnomes with the eggs. Fun deck. Skill based deck
I replaced it with Eggs after seeing your comment and watching Monsanto play it. Credit where credit is due, sorry for not stating that.
Hey no problem. it just felt weird commenting on subbing a card on a deck built by Monsanto but he subbed the same card as well. ive played both versions and it feels better with the egg cause it felt like lacking dragons sometimes and the egg gives a good fuel and synergy with plague of flames and the evil genius. cheers
The dragon synergy improvement is a huge boon for sure, consistent Crazed Netherwing is essential.
saw him playing it on stream. he called it "freeze warlock" because it kind of plays like old freeze mage. Everything goes face, plague token dudes when you lose the board, send everything face, etc.
Can someone explain this deck to me lol
Saw one of Muzzy's stream where he was running a variant of this. Though the version he was running had Dark Pharaoh Tekahn.
Control/Stall the board with lackies, Plague of Flames, Mountain Giants, and Crazed Netherwing while collecting your combo pieces.
Then combo finish with Bloodmage Thalnos + Nether Breath (x2) + Soulfire (x2) for 20 damage.
Alexstrasza can be used offensively to set up lethal or defensively to survive.
Prolly one of the few decks you won't be annoyed to get the Draconic Lackey lol. You get Crazed Netherwing a fair amount of the time, or worst case you get a dragon activator.
Yes please, there are some very confusing cards in here.
you guys are smart, figure it out.
btw his latest version of the deck uses the dragon eggs instead of the lepper gnomes
