How to pilot this deck

This is only a theorycraft!

Depth Charge Combo:

Step 1: Discount Mecha'thun and a Depth Charge with Emperor Thaurissan

Step 2: Empty your deck and hand down to Archmage Vargoth, Time Warp, Mecha'thun, and 2 Depth Charge. for a total of 5 cards.

Step 3: play Archmage Vargoth into Time Warp to get two extra turns. So you only have Mecha'thun and the 2  Depth Charge

Step 4: On the first extra turn play Mecha'thun and both Depth Charge and pass the turn.

Step 5: You Win, the Depth Charges will do a total of 10 damage to your board so as long as you have nothing on your board that is 11 health of more you should win.

Alternative Combo:

Step 1: Discount Mecha'thun and Snap Freeze with Emperor Thaurissan

Step 2: Empty your deck and hand down to Mecha'thun, Snap Freeze, and a second half of Ray of Frost so it does not have the Twinspell keyword.

Step 3: Play Mecha'thun and freeze it with Ray of Frost, and then destroy it with Snap Freeze

Step 4: You Win!

  • With 2 Ice Block you need 1 triggered, meaning you’re probably on 1 health. This means you’re dead when you draw during your extra turns. Have you thought about including Reno Jackson and maybe Zola the Gorgon?

  • Maybe include a Cold Snap for an alternate way to trigger mechathun so you can freely play depth charges. Also, the combo could be done in one turn that way with thaurissan reduction.
