The Year of the Phoenix has added some lovely ladies to the arsenal of Odd Shaman and they are all Legendaries. RIP dust wallet! (I'm not a simp for shaman legendaries, I swear)

Prior to this year the only fine women Odd Shaman had were Baku who makes the entire deck possible, and Electra whose spell doubling works amazingly with burn like Lava Burst or to slam a ton of stats onto the board with buffs like Storm's Wrath and Totemic Reflection. But this past year has added an awesome new girl to the deck every expansion, or in Scholomance Academy's case, two!

I've been having a lot of fun with Odd Shaman this past year, experimenting with it and watching it evolve over time. The deck has received a lot of new tools and I climbed from Diamond 10 to Diamond 1 with it today!

The first expansion of the year of the Phoenix, Ashes of Outland gave Odd Shaman the Voluptuous Vashj who brings spell damage on a well-stated body and when she is in her Prime gives the deck some much needed card draw effectively being a Skull of Gul'dan that tutor's your burn tacked onto a body!

Scholomance Academy gave Odd Shaman not just the Flamin Hot Fireheart who brings a lot of value and can really pull out some clutch answers in a time of need, but also the Great Gidra whose Spellburst works great with all the 3-cost spells in the deck, especially if you can Coin her out on turn 2 and get her to stick. Casting a Totemic Reflection on Gidra makes her a 6/9. NICE!

The most recent gal to enter the club, coming from the Madness at Darkmoon Faire, is the Incredible Inara whose effect is good for both stabilizing board control, and going face with your own face, especially if you buff your attack with Stormstrike even though she's the only woman here who isn't 3 mana, she's not ashamed of her size!
