I am having a lot of fun with this deck. I used to run a Dreadsteed deck until it was nerfed to death. This is the closest I think I'll come to recapturing that deck. The only thing missing is a way to more consistently draw the Cruel Dinomancers (I used Sense Demons for the Dreadsteeds).
Have all the cards, so why not? Looks fun.
Watermelon86,
I think you won the internet with this deck. Good work!
Until I craft Spiritsinger Umbra, would Baron Rivendare be a decent substitute? It's the same cost, and I would imagine stays out just as long once your opponent realizes what's coming.
You can use Rivendare after you've played a Dinomancer and then trade the dino and Dark Pact one of the two that resurrects. That way you have four dinos to work with. I actually run both and use eggs as well so that they're not dead cards in the matchups where I don't draw into my combo right away.
Yeah, that could work alright. Tweaking the deck a bit to include Carnivorous Cube may be a good idea as well.
This was one of the Theorycrafted concepts I anticipated most with the expansion and having lost to it once and beaten it twice on the ladder, I have to say I'm surprised by it's effectiveness at rank 5 and up. This is a solid deck list though I swapped a few cards to tech against Quest/Secret Mage because they are overabundant and annoying.
Had a few hilarious games with this deck, perfect for pottering around at Rank 5 and having some fun. Cheers.
While I get what you're saying about other minions being counterproductive, I disagree that this is the best way to build it. While this setup likely gets Dinomancers out earlier, adding some eggs and activators gives you an explosive early game that can often win or at least give you trading fodder until you get the dinos down. I just can't see your deck holding its own against aggro.
I am missing Spiritsinger Umbra. What do you think would be a good replacement? I would think that adding some faceless manipulators and carniverous cubes would be good. But then I would have to remove more cards. I would probably remove X2 drain soul for two faceless, and umbra for a cube.
I'd probably play 2 cubes and one Faceless, but that does seem to be the best option if you don't have Umbra. I would advise making the changes I mentioned above for Healbots and Zilliax though.
Awesome. Just awesome!
I tried the deck, and even though it's weak to many sorts of removal, it's very effective nonetheless. The biggest issue I have with it however, is that I find this kind of deck lackluster in the 'fun department'. I personally do not enjoy one trick glass cannon decks, how effective they may be. I also made some edits to the deck, as I found out it lacks draw power. What I did was:
-2 Dark Bomb
-2 Shadow Bolt
+2 Coldlight Oracle
+2 Loot Hoarder
tldr; the deck is really good, but for me not a lot of fun to play.
This is a really great fun deck. Thanks for making this.
In my games i changed some cards, trying to lean more on healing and add some tech vs secrets.
Worked with varying success on Rank 5, but when it did work, damn it was satisfying.
Most opponent really don't expect this kind of deck at the moment.
-2 Dark Pact
-2 Power Overwhelming
-2 Darkbomb
-2 Plot Twist
-2 Novice Engineer
+1 Antique Healbot
+1 Zilliax
+2 Traveling Healer
+2 Shroom Brewer
+2 Coldlight Oracle
+1 Kezan Mystic
+1 Eater of Secrets
I'm playing your version and it seems more reliable, just changed Kezan for another eater of secrets
Just tried the deck, sooooo fun, and effective! Thanks!
I just crafted Plague of Flames and Dinomancers since this deck seemed pretty fun and interesting. Wasn't expecting much, but I decided to give it a shot. Hot damn. This deck is insane! Its on the power level of Naga Giants and Pre-nerf Ungoro Quest Rogue. There is no counterplay aside from Psychic Scream, and the dinomancers ensure that you threaten lethal no matter what. Power overwhelming indeed. Definitely give this a shot as its very cheap in terms of dust and VERY powerful.
edit: I forgot about Devolve, Murloc Plague and Poison Seeds, but regardless its still very powerful.
Poison Seeds actually doesn't counter it since deathrattles trigger before the treants are summoned.
This looks very promising and fun, I will try to make a similar deck and see what happens.
