Grinch Priest (Gift Exchange 2020)
- Unknown Priest
- Tavern Brawl
- Casual
I call this deck the "Grinch Priest" because it's designed to basically steal all the presents. In my first match I think the person I was up against just imported a deck from Standard so of course I did really well. But with all the stat swapping cards, and cards that can kill low attack minions, you just keep killing all the crates and taking the presents before your opponent can. In that first game I played about 15 or so presents and my opponent played none!
As a bit of a back up plan I included Potion of Madness, Inner Fire, and cards like Power Word: Shield and Kabal Talonpriest to pull off some big burst turns. You can even use these cards to combo with your opponent's own crate! Insight was included to draw some of the minions, and potentially get things like Talonpriest discounted for a possible OTK turn. Palm Reading is also for the potential discount for OTK. But really you need Potion on an 0/4 crate, 2x PW Shield, 2x Divine Spirt, Inner Fire and you got it. only 6 mana, 6 cards.
Biggest issue you might come across is Warlock, who has a TON of options to kill off their own minions, keeping you from having a clean shot at a one of their crates.
