Antlers - now on Disney +

Evil forest spirits face dark family trauma in Guillermo del Toro-produced, atmospheric monster film directed by Scott Cooper ("Black Mass"). Keri Russell plays a small-town teacher who begins to worry about a quiet boy in the class. Together with his brother (Jesse Plemons), who is a police officer, they discover frightening secrets in connection with a mythical creature.

The Tender Bar - now on Amazon Prime Video

A film adaptation of J.R. Moehringer's acclaimed memoirs of growing up in the 1970s without a father, raised by a single mother and by a range of colorful characters in the local pub. George Clooney sits in the register and Ben Affleck has found his place behind the bar, ready to serve life wisdom and comfort. The screenplay is by William Monahan, who won an Oscar for "The Departed".

Mother / Android - now on Netflix

This new sci-fi role Spider Man No Way Home with Chloë Grace Moretz seems to draw inspiration from both the "evil robots" genre and the post-apocalyptic survival drama in "The Walking Dead". Here we meet pregnant Georgia and her boyfriend Sam, who are trying to get away with their lives when artificial intelligence runs amok. A warning, however, for the low IMDb rating: 4.6 out of 10 does not bode very well.
