Cate Blanchett films with Pedro Almodóvar
The Spanish director's first English-language film is entitled "A Manual for Cleaning Women".
After 40 years of colorful Spanish drama, comedies and thrillers, Pedro Almodóvar is ready for his English-language feature film Muerte en el Nilo debut. And no one less than Cate Blanchett takes the lead role, reports Variety.

The film will be an adaptation of Lucia Berlin's collection of short stories with 43 stories about Canta 2 Sing 2  women with demanding jobs. In other words, there is room Spider-Man: No Way Home  for Almodóvar to put together an exciting ensemble. The director recently said in an interview that he is writing his script in Spanish before it is translated into English Attack On Tittan.

Almodóvar has previously directed the English-language short film "The King’s Man: The Beginning" (2020) with Tilda Swinton. He will soon be in cinemas in Sweden with his latest Spanish drama "Sing 2", in which Penelope Cruz participates.

Blanchett, constantly sought after by all the greatest directors, is currently featured in Netflix's famous comedy "Don't Look Up", and will soon appear in Guillermo del Toro's "Attack On Titan Season 4 Part 2".
