Togwaggle's Hench-clan Tempo Rogue
- Tempo Rogue
- Wild
- Theorycraft
Deck Explanation
This is a midrange tempo deck utilising the insane value generated by some of the recently revealed RoS cards. The main goal of the deck is to gain control of the board and eventually kill the opponent with board control. However, this deck has a few alternate win conditions: Chef Nomi and Heistbaron Togwaggle.
What allows this deck to take control of the board is the combination of strong minions like Hench-Clan Thug and SI:7 Agent along with a new synergy I think will be very strong. Vendetta is a card that allows for easy 0 mana clears when combined with either Stolen Steel or Hench-Clan Burglar. Not only can you instantly clear a 4 health minion after playing one of the aforementioned cards, you can even just hold the discovered card and use the 0 mana clear later. With the rotation of Vilespine Slayer and the large decrease in power level, I feel like this will be a strong combination and viable for this expansion.
Card Choice
- Saronite Taskmaster was one of the strongest 1 drops i could find after the rotation and the deathrattle isn't too harmful.
- Hench-Clan Hogsteed allows for clearing and leaves a minion on board. Also has "Hench-clan" in the name so that's nice.
- Stolen Steel synergises with Vendetta and provides some value generation. Not to sure about this card to be honest.
- EVIL Miscreant allows Heistbaron Togwaggle to be played, although its stats aren't great. Lackeys definitely can be useful as well.
- Hench-Clan Burglar is a decently stated 4 drop that synergises with Vendetta and provides value generation.
- Leeroy Jenkins and Crazed Chemist provide burst to close out games. The latter is also good for trades.
- Myra's Unstable Element provides that final burst of cards and has synergy with Chef Nomi.
- Heistbaron Togwaggle is an alternate win condition due to the high potential value he provides. All the treasures can provide high tempo or value, or sometimes even both. The ability to pick a treasure for each circumstance is also very strong.
- Chef Nomi is a final closing card that is only used due to Myra's Unstable Element being good in the deck.
I feel the other card choices are pretty self explanatory so not going to bother explaining them. Probably explained too much already for a theorycrafted deck.
