Budget Face Hunter (Whizbang Theorycraft)
- Face Hunter
- Standard
- Theorycraft
- Tinyfin
Yeah, no surprises here. With Kill Command and Leeroy Jenkins back in Standard, there's no more obvious budget deck to build on day one than Face Hunter. We're trying a Secrets side-build with Costumed Singer and Lesser Emerald Spellstone helping support the archetype, since Ice Trap is good disruption, and Hidden Meaning and Rat Trap can spring a tempo advantage on unsuspecting opponents.
Fetch! is decent card draw, but we're not using it to its full potential by including noted non-Beasts Singer and Leeroy. However, I like Messenger Buzzard, who can buff a hand of Animal Companions and Worms while also tutoring Painted Canvasaur.
