How to pilot this deck

Hey everyone!

If your wanting a home brew, revamped version of egg hunter that can climb this deck is for you! I climbed to D7 with this list so far.

The plan is pretty simple with this deck, you try to get eggs out early and get some triggers off of yodeler to throw down some big beasts; then you bring them all back with Stranglethorn Heart.

My mulligans are normally tracking, eggs, Gorgonzormu or any cheap spells. I have some early game cards to help with early token boards or get early pressure without ruining the consistency of your eggs like awakening tremors, sneaky snakes and barrell of monkeys. I added titan forged traps because it forces some bad decisions at times for your opponents and helps create friction whether they want to go face or attack your smaller minions.

If you can get some early eggs triggered you can start creating some board pressure. I added in Splitting Spacerock and beached whale mainly for Thunderbringer. The smaller elemental rocks are great at giving less impactful minions for Reska steals as well. I threw in death roll to help with early large minons your opponent gets out like Protoss Priest, Zerg DK's and Location Warlock. And with the high health totals of these large beasts I have done best against Asteroid Shamans. I also did well against , Terran Shamans, and Protoss Mages.

This deck doesnt seem to do well against early buffs on Zerg DK and Dungar Druid that gets going early. But I have won games against Zerg DK if we get to turns 7+ just because you start getting enough board presence and friction to shut down their buffed Zerg. I havent faced the other meta decks enough personally to get a good read on them.

I climbed to D7 with this list so far but I don't have a win rate percentage that I've tracked. Of course you can change some of the early game cards and the beasts you want to use to fit more of what your facing but for me personally this list has gotten me to D7 currently and climbing.

But if you love big minions and want something a little fresh for standard this is a really fun deck to try.

Enjoy!
