How to pilot this deck

This deck is meant to be played as a control deck. Usually you are able to out value your opponent, but if things go wrong you can always go Mecha'thun.

Mulligan

Going first or second is typically the same. Go for early game cards such as Kobold Librarian, Mistress of Mixtures, Flame Imp, or Vulgar Homunculus. If going second, play Kobold Librarian with Mistress of Mixtures if possible. If you do not have Kobold Librarian but have Vulgar Homunculus instead, go for it.

Game Plan

The game plan is simple, stay alive and out value you opponent. Play defensively, and if you know you are facing off against another control deck, go for a Mecha'thun finisher. Save Plague of Flames and Galvanizer if you are going for Mecha'thun, otherwise you can just use Plague of Flames for board clear and Galvanizer for Zilliax and/or SN1P-SN4P. Kazakus can give you card draw for a Mecha'thun play, a board clear to stabilize, or generate more minions for you. Always remember that if you have a wide board, Zephrys the Great can give you Savage Roar or Bloodlust if you have enough mana. This deck usually leaves you with a nearly full hand at all times meaning Twilight Drake and Mountain Giant really shine.
