Welcome,

this is Even Recruit Warrior!

If you are looking for a different control style Warrior deck, you should try this one. It feels fresh and is very interesting to play (and has a real chance vs Secret Mage)!

This deck takes advantage of the Recruit mechanic in Gather Your Party and Woecleaver to cheat out big minions. It also has a lot of armor gain potential and cards that synergizes with it.
Since you can use your Hero Power almost every turn Bladed Gauntlet usually can trade into multiple big minions. Also the new Armored Goon actually gives your weapon +5 attack in the same turn while attacking. Speaking of new Cards, Colossus of the Moon is a great minion for many big style decks.
Scourgelord Garrosh is here to for more aoe potential, to activate Grommash Hellscream or to give you another weapon for Armored Goon (also don't forget the 5 armor when played).

Have fun and share your thoughts!

I've been playing around with Big Warrior also - I've ended up cutting vargoth due to feeling it's a "win more" card.

If you have in hand then it's often just a turn 4 soft taunt, if you're lucky you might pull it off gather your party or dimensional ripper but I've found that a big minion or using Blatant Decoy instead is just better.

Also Ysharg is a great addition to this deck, and being even you could even use sylvanus or ragnaros.

Mountain giant is an interesting idea, but would be anti-control right? against aggro you're using cards to stabilise the board until your minions come out - most of the time you're hand sitting is vs control. Also if you pull out your deck, sure it's nice but a fat effect would be nicer.

I love you're deck - using it as evens is great, I've tried and havnt managed to make it work better than non-even big warrior. I'd just add more crazy wild legendary minions if possible.

      Thank you for your reply!

The Recruit Mechanic is all about cheating big minions out for less mana. So I was looking for cheaper minions to have a bit more to do in the early game and I added Vargoth because it is the only "small" minion I can think of you are happy to see from your recruits.

And if you draw him against agressive decks you have a early minion to play (as soft taunt) and against other decks you can still get great use out of his effect. You can play him at 10 mana with one of your 6 mana spells, execute 2 enemy minions ore Shuffle 2 times with dead mans hand.
I've played this deck without Vargoth before and I think Vargoth makes this deck better. At least I can say I won some games due to Vargoth.

I tried Blatant Decoy but unfortunately it didnt work so well for me. But depending on the meta this card could definately be a nice addition.

This deck is already not bad vs aggressive decks (for me at least) and I think the early mountain giant is so good that it helps the deck more than not.

To the other legendaries: I tried to build this deck with some small synergies in itself. Maybe Rotface would be a nice addition. But yes I think all the other legendaries would work fine as well.

One thing about my version: I'm not sure I think I have to many weapons. Maybe I should cut one of the Weapons Projects for something like Bring It On?
