After reaching rank 8 i got this screen, i couldn't interact with it in any way that matters, i could move the slider and click the arrows but it didn't do anything from what i could tell. I was able to hit back to the main menu.
But i couldn't get rid of it at all.

This could be proof that the runestones and arcane orbs are coming to the full game sooner than we think.
It the currency for the Chinese version of HS, so they can get around their laws. It's just a bug , we shouldn't see it.
It's a visual bug, it's referencing the Chinese in-game currency that blizzard added specifically to get around lootbox laws
It's been going on for months, you're not the first one
I wouldn't take this as proof of anything, for some reason blizzard can't not add bugs to their game (such as when I have to restart to actually receive my weekly quest xp sometimes)

A year old article, reposted so ppl rise their awareness about this issue. Not calling you out or anything, just saying it is not a "leak" of something to come. Tho it could make its way to other regions in the future, who knows.
That screen pops for me when i ended an arena last week.
I hope that runestone comes to all servers soon.
Runestones are not a good thing, nor are they really a new concept in microtransactions
They're an obscurity.
Their entire purpose to seem like they're not just the exact same way global pays for packs with real money because they hide it under "oh you don't buy packs directly, you buy a number on your account which can be exchanged for another number on your account which can be exchanged for packs"
But I've read that you can get Runestones with quests. I'm wrong?
