Why is paladin a necromancy class all out of a sudden? that's the priest theme.. also isn't sir findley one of the good guys? why is he making mummies?
I'm not sure what this Quest is doing. We'll have to see the full pool of Reborn minons to have an idea of how you're supposed to use this.
5/5 for Cuteness.
BUT: necromancing paladins? Whatabout the treasured class identity?
And I am a bit disappointed, that the quest is so strict: Reborn is a keyword from only one expansion, which will restrict deckbuilding tremendously. So if there's a deck for this card, there is also exactly only ONE deck for this card. Which will be sad for the 1/9 of the budgetplayers that got this one.
The balance is on point for this one. It synergises with itself but you played already 4 of your reborn minions, the 5th can be directly copied. So, how many do you put into your deck? 8? 10? Even more? Granted, deathrattles and end of turn effects are premium targets aswell but will it be enough?
As many others said, it feels like a priest quest and fits right into the class aswell. I can see why this is probably OP in priest, on the other hand maybe exactly what priest needed to come back... we‘ll see
Winner winner chicken dinner
Well i would've loved if this quest or something similiar would have been for Priest - not realy the Paladin flavour but i guess it´s ok ...
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
Since no one seems to have posted it yet "Emperor Wraps" creates a 2/2 copy of friendly minion...

The first legendary of the new set I actually get a little excited about. As several people already mentioned in the news post, this will be great with deathrattle minions like cairne or eggs. Nice card!
I notice I am confused. Something I believe isn't true. How do I know what I think I know?

I"m ambivalent about this. I agree with the other posts that this seems to be a Priest card with an identity issue. On that note, if Blizzard can make Reborn a recurring ability and not trapped to one release, I'm looking at K&C for the Rogue secrets, I think it actually has a lot of potential to be used with things like the Inspire minions like Mukla's Champion
First off, as mentioned by many, this should be a Priest Quest. Making copies (of Deathrattle minions) is Priest territory.
Second, this is literally a better version of Shadowy Figure.
Don't get me wrong, I like the Hero Power itself and I'll have blast with it on Mechano-Egg and stuff but it really should be a Priest Quest.
Ikr? In the trailer
he smacked a mummy. Really confusing.
Paladin is my fav class, but in this expansion i'm really dissapointed.
10/10 Cute Factor. I'm crafting this Gold on day of release. Because I have to...
It'll work well early to mid game but spending 2 mana to make a 2/2 in the late game? I'm not so sure about that. Even with a great Deathrattle to copy I can't see it being worth it.
Cocked, locked and ready to rock...
I mostly agree with you. You will be using the same core 6-10 reborn cards to construct the deck every time. There will be more than 1 deck though as new expansions release. There could be 2-of mech, divine shield, or dragon variants; but also do not discount a potential highlander deck with this quest. Paladin already has its full heal in Nozari ( aka a more fair Reno Jackson) on deck to help make control work. It just needs a few more powerful tools to go late game. It is a very restrictive quest like warlock's quest (Plot Twist being required). I am just glad Priest did not get this and I hope priest gets anything other than a deathrattle or reborn theme for its quest.
Does the copy of a mech keep only the buffs and not the 2/2 stats when summoned from Kangor's Endless Army and I have the same question when murlocs are summoned by Anyfin Can Happen perhaps less murlocs are needed in a deck to make the spell crazy powerful.
The above comment assumes a Hearthstone Wild perspective.
The heropower gives the summon minion 2/2, so i guess stats buffs doesn't work, only other effects like ongoing effects or divine shield, deathrattle, etc.
In case of Anyfin Can Happen, you can still copy your [Hearthstone Card (Old Murk Eye) Not Found], Murloc Warleaders or Bluegill Warrior.
Depends all if the meta is slow enough to play the quest, and if there aren’t super strong counters to it . Like fast OTKs or Shaman...
I can imagine copying some nice stuff like Malygos for instance might make this a very interesting quest, or some similar card with powerful effects. Anything that can copy is extremely dangerous.
Well after seeing the rest of the set I think it's safe to say this card is DOA
Paladin has access to 11 Reborn cards, 8 of which could be playable. If you put 2 copies of every playable Reborn card in your deck, more than half of your deck could have Reborn. Given that quest Warrior runs far fewer than 16 Taunts and can consistently complete the quest (which requires 7 Taunt minions, whereas this only requires 5 Reborn ones) I think that this quest could be reliably completed. Now there's just the question of whether the cost of running a lot of Reborn minions is worth the reward
