  • 6 mana 6/9 can't be bad, right? You might get punished by hitting some high cost deathrattle minions like Mechanical Whelp but how often can that happen...

  • I think this is probably good, just not in Hunter. I'd like it a lot more if it were in other classes.
    There is a lot of tough competition at 6, especially with Scarlet Webweaver in the picture now.

    It seems unlikely to me that you would play Wild Bloodstinger over Unleash the Beast, Savanah Highmane, or Scarlet Webweaver.
    But, there are always side decks.

  • I mean, at least it's some form of a Dirty Rat reprint and anti-combo? Shame it's hunter-only though.

  • Very good card although it can be risky if your opponent has bigger minions that can survive and destroy it. We'll likely see this a lot. 

  • I suppose smacking into an oondasta or a burly would kind of suck but those will be one offs. Chances are you will get to crush some lackey generating minions ruining your opponent s game plan.

      Who plays those cards though? 

  • Good card, kills most combo pieces/game ender minions outright, kills them all with an added Kill Command and leaves you with a body on the board.

    But Midrange Hunter already beats the decks that this helps against, and you would rather have a Savannah Highmane over this, I think. Would maybe fit in a slower Hunter if that ever existed?

  • I see this seeing play in at least one archetype, against aggro you're highly unlikely to hit anything too damning (worst case i can think of off the top of my head is venomiser) and against control you've got a combo disruptor (although for some decks you'll need to have other minions on the board when you play, e.g. malygos won't die)

        Whoops. Sorry about that. I was just really excited about the beast tag on the minion.

  • I love cards that allow you to counter combo decks, but why must they make them class cards? There's been a hole in my heart ever since Dirty Rat rotated out. Oh well, at least they didn't give this to Warlock like literally every other combo disruption card in the meta.

  • This card rips Omega devastator. Warrior concedes.

  • High risk, high reward.  And solid stats.  Beast synergy.  I really like this card.

  • A real shame it is in the 6 mana slot, it has to compete with all the other amazing Hunter six drops.

    That being said, it would probably be included in a Highlander Hunter... but I doubt Highlander Hunter will be good enough in Standard

  • Stats are in insane, and the "drawback" seems like more of benefit. Insane value.
