  • Better than Arcane Intellect? No

edit: I was so so wrong

    -=alfi=-

  • Insane card.  Not only is it guaranteed to be a 0-mana draw 2 for spell Mages but even in a regular deck it’s highly likely to refresh at least 2 mana crystals on average. I can’t think of a scenario where it’s not worh the risk.

    Better than Arcane Intellect? No

Yes, 0 mana better than 3 my dude

    1
  • Better than AI, really good card

    4 Mana 7/7

    0
  • straight up bonkers in no minion mage

    1
  • Pretty amazing in Spell only mage and might even be good in other decks although Arcane intellect probably beats it in those still

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

    0
  • Mage got the best cards this expansion, fight me!
This is bonkers, I love it!

    0
  • Insane card, it's Arcane Intellect with mana cheating, and it's often similar to Cutting Class. (0 mana draw 2)

This is going to 100% see play in spell heavy decks and spell-only mage. Very solid card.

RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

    0
  • Very good card

    0
  • this will be great in mage

    0
  • Broken in no minion mage, it also seems incredibly strong in general mage decks.

At this point I have spent too much money on these games to quit.

Now pass me another pack, and lets see what I pull.

  • This woman looks so dehydrated that I can't tell whether she's a human or a undead!

    0
  • Great card for spell mage essentially a 0 cost for 2 free draws in a no minion list

    0
  • I feel like you are always going to draw at least one spell in mage and if you do draw at least one this is a strictly better card than the 3 mana draw 2.

    0
  • This is absolutely nuts. You can throw this in pretty much any mage deck and get enough discounts to justify running this over arcane intellect. But in dedicated spell decks, this is better and more reliable than Cutting Class.

    Carrion, my wayward grub.

    1
  • 0 mana draw 2? Sounds pretty sweet to me:)

    0
  • Since Mage is all about spells, you're gonna refresh at least 2 most of the time. Kinda like a lighter Book of Specters, but opposite (Fungal Fortunes actually, but it's a different class). Great for sure.

    0
  • only good for spell only mage

    0
  • very good card especially in spell mage

  • Wow that is some support for spell mage. I approve

English is not my native language, so please excuse occasional mistakes

  • I don't know which cards are rotating for No Minion Mage, but if it's still viable, this is pretty amazing.

    OBLIVION!

    0
  • spell mage support, a very powerful support

    0
  • Great card to fit into spell mage!

  • I hope spell mage abuses this and gets Deck of Lunacy nerfed for me. Yay, dust!

Chumbawumba is the worst band name.

    0
  • Wow this card is basically zero mana draw 2 cards in no minion mage 😱absolutely bonkers

    0
  • It is definitely NOT just for Spell Mage. The fact that the refresh isn't all-or-nothing makes this an auto-include in most Mage decks. You would always use this over Arcane Intellect (or use both).

    0
  • Too good in spell mage if that goes off

Lemushki - The one and only since the 2006 rebranding.

    0
  • I think it's pretty decent, better than arcane intellect with at most 2 mana draw 2

    0
  • This is an excellent card

    0
  • Nice

    0
  • Absolutely broken in any kind of Miracle Mage, like Mozaki Mage.

    0
  • In no minion mage this is just crazy. In all else, its basically just a worse Arcane Intellect most of the time.

Cram Session is still the better card for a minion based mage.

    0
  • I think this card is legitimately powerful. Obviously has a real home in Oops, All Spells Mage, but beyond that paying four to draw two is not bad, especially if you end up getting some or all of that Mana back. Very good, will see play.

I don't want to cure cancer; I want to turn people into dinosaurs.

    0
  • In a spell only mage this is just free, and if it's discounted it's even better.

    0
  • this is so good

    0
  • Whatever. Probably will see play, but not having any special opinion of it.

  • Spell mage decks love this even normal mage could play it but it will see a lot of play from when it is discovered from other spells.

    0
  • Food mage meta, with whole deck eating biscuits until Biscuit Elemental fatrolls us all.

    0
  • Well, in Spell Mage this is basically a 0-mana Arcane Intellect with the only condition being that you need to get to 4 mana first. In other words, really good.

  • Naturally slots into Spell Mage. Not that that deck is the strongest deck of them all, but that makes it guaranteed to see play already. And even if you draw just 1 spell on average it already is a better Arcane Intellect, which sees plenty of play.

    Arena > Wild > Standard

    0
  • can be a better arcane intellect or a worse, in a no minion mage deck this is really good

    0
  • Good in no-minion mage. 0-cost card, so in turn 4 we can play it, draw 2 cards and we still have 4 mana.

    0
  • great card

    0
  • Just refreshing once is enough to be worth it, 2 mana draw 2.

Poor ol' Arcane Intellect... overshadowed by everything.

Papa Nurgle wants to share his gifts.

    0
  • Crazy in spells deck. Good in otk deck

    0
  • Nice support for no-minions Mage, which is already a fun and reasonably good deck. I'd like to see it gain traction.

  • It's most likely outcome is either draw two for two mana or draw two for free. Solid card and design

    0
  • The flavor text is refreshing : "Mana" is just another name for "electrolytes."
Also, the card is pretty good!

  • Draw cards, for free! Sign me up. Even just 1 spell it's a cheaper Arcane Intellect. Definitely going to see play.

    0
  • not bad! more draw is good, especially with the refund for spell mage

    0
  • This is likely to see some play in spell mage.

    0
  • Absolutely OP card can be a 0 mana draw 2 in a pure spell mage, which is just next level insane. With mana biscuit you can even get 2 more mana out of it

    0
  • Great for only spells mages

I'm not online       cat          it's just your imagination

    0
  • Typically better than Arcane Intellect. Still think I'd rather run AI though.

  • Spell mage buff

    0
  • Well, arcane intellect is more stable than this one.

    0
  • This is only good in no minion mage, otherwise it´s a unnecesary risk for other builds.

    0
  • Insane Card , because most of the time this will be 0 Mana draw 2.

  • Can we just play no minions (or a few only) just to draw 2 for 0? It seems powerful but at the end not sure to do something crazy with this

  • 0 mana draw 2 cards pog

    0
  • Really good on spell mage. In "normal" decks this is an AI, in spell-only decks it's way better.

    0
  • Spell heavy mages will use this probably

    0
  • No minion mage was pretty good, particularly with C'Thun, the Shattered, and a "0 mana draw 2" effect for that deck is probably good enough to drive people back to the archetype

    0
  • I don't know why, I love this design. That's so cool.

    0
  • 0 mana draw 2! Crazy highroll potential also at 2 mana it is good enough. Pretty strong card for sure.

    0

You and me both. Mage got some good stuff this expansion.

Autoinclude in no minion Mages and worthy of consideration in all that run a significant amount of spells.

    0
  • The support card spell mage desperately needed to be viable. 0 mana draw 2 in that deck, potentially 2 mana draw 2 in a lot of others.

    0
  • Very good for spell mage, decent draw and cast engine

    0
  • Good card but there seem to be so many 4 mana cards that I don't know if kazakus will ever see play

    0
  • Nice draw spell

    Ribbit

    0
  • Pretty damn sweet in no-minion mage, and probably at least decent in any other mage deck.

    0
  • Weak

    0
  • Even if only one of the two cards drawn is a spell it's already better than Arcane Intellect, so it'll see a lot of play for sure

    0
  • Seems EXTREMELY good. Maybe enough to actually make a Mozaki, Master Duelist machine gun mage good??

    ~ An expertly disguised dinosaur

    0
  • Bonkers strong in Pure Spell Mage, and probably decent in other Mage decks, especially Control Mage.

    0
  • This looks good. I didn't realize its potential at first, but a spell heavy deck almost always gets this card half price or free. I think it could be much fun.

Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.

    0
  • Very strong -- it's still good even if your deck is half and half.

    0
  • Very good, even if it only draws one spell

  • Spell only mage is gonna be great this time, other archetypes wouldn't run it in a hundred years so... All in all, bonkers!

    0
  • Even at 1 spell this is great. Will see a lot of play.

Put your faith in the Light!

    0
  • Broken in Spell Mage, insane in any other deck. Could see it being nerfed to 5 mana in the future.

    0
  • Excellent card draw with potential upside that is VERY good.

    0
  • it will be a free draw in the right deck. nice

    0
  • 0 or 2 mana draw two cards for almost every Mage deck, seems solid.

    0
  • Spell Mage likes this card, but it can be too risky to pay 4 mana to draw 2 cards. But, even if you draw 1 spell it's better than Arcane Intellect.

    0
  • Auto-include in No Minion Mage. Everywhere else... eh, I'll let other people figure out the break point for how many spells this needs to be good and just copy their homework.

    Welcome to the site!

    0
  • Possible 2 mana draw 2.  Strong in spell mage.

    0
  • If spell only will still be played this can be good

    For The HORDE!

    0
  • 0 mana draw 2 cards is bonkers lol. Even 2 mana is too.

    0
  • In a spell mage deck this is an auto include.  For most normal mage decks, it's a decent card, but unlikely to replace Arcane Intellect anytime soon.

    1
  • Mage loves to run spells, so this is often a two mana draw two and occasionally is free. We know how good free card draw is thanks to Rogue, so I think Mages will build their decks to support consistently getting a 0-2 mana draw two cards.

    For glory, honor, and gold!

    0
  • This is beyond broken. After Incanter's Flow you gain Mana from it. You can play a 1 Mana Spell, draw two cards and still are at full mana.

    3
  • If you're on 4 mana and play Coin + Refreshing, why do you end up with only 4 mana?

  • It probably only refreshes your permanent mana crystals and not the temporary ones like from The Coi or Innervate as it states “refresh” in the text. Similarly, it should not refill overloaded mana crystals either.

If you play the coin, you go to 5 mana.  You then have 5 mana.  Starting at 5 mana, you spend 4 of it on Refreshing.  That leaves you with 1 mana.  Refilling 2 mana per spell drawn should refill 4 mana.  4 + 1 = 5.

The coin does not give you an extra mana crystal, gives you temporary mana which disappears once spent. After playing Refreshing Spring Water, you still only have 4 mana crystals, but only 3 of them are spent since you used the temporary mana from the coin to cast it.

You gain a mana crystal for that turn.  If you play the coin on 4 mana, it shows you having 5 mana.   If you play it in another order (Refreshing THEN Coin) you end up with 5 mana.  It should work either way IMO.
