I have a friend who has no olds cards so he cant do the brawl this week? Is there a solution?
EDIT: and there is no old gods or anything in the list of available extension so he cannot craft anything...
Challenge him to a friendly tavern brawl and let him borrow one of your decks.
This Tavern Brawl is more balanced than the current Standard and Wild metas and I love it!
If you win with Demon Hunter, you deserve an extra pack.

I won with a straight-forward C'Thun deck last time, so I decided not to do that again. Instead I went with Jade Shaman + a Deathrattle N'Zoth package to fill up the space in my deck. Pretty janky but this C'Thun Warrior surrendered after I got the Jade-ball rollin' so whatever; don't have to worry about it anymore lel
So it turns out I don't actually have enough cards to fill a 30 card deck .... I literally cannot play this Brawl, why are core cards not available Blizzard fucking please.
Alright, I just found a fun new feature. It turns out that if you don't have a full deck you can still queue up with less than 30 cards. Jade Idol just got a lot better
Alright, never mind, the game just autofills the rest of your deck with random cards. At least they accounted for that possibility.
how did you do that? A friend has 0 cards of old sets and cant play agaisnt me :(
Seems you need a single card from one of the expansions, so your friend would need to craft a common from any of them in the Collection Manager then add that to the deck and queue up the Brawl.
EDIT: A Neutral common should let you play all classes :)
I built the deck with all the cards I had, then closed the deckbuild and clicked play. I queued up normally and the rest of my deck was filled with random cards from the available sets.

Ugh. Usually when people complain about Tavern Brawl, I say it’s meant it be a fun casual mode. It appeals mainly to players who don’t give their opinions on online forums, and that’s ok. Not everything has to be for me.
But then a mode like this comes along. How are those casual players supposed to play this week?

I would love if they'll implement a new format, alongside with Standard and Wild, that has a monthly rotation of sets (like the Arena) for constructed. It could be so much fresh and entertaining.
