Very cute, decent support for Big Spell Mage as well, but without some Freeze payoff I don't see it working out.
I tried having fun once.

Arena: Pyros is back! Don't underestimate Build a Snowman. Pyros is still a good card and this is even better.
Constructed: Build a Snowbrute and especially Build a Snowgre are unplayable on their own so this would need cards like Clumsy Courier to see any play. Are we finally going to be able to play Big Spell Mage?

Pyros has become a spell it seems. Solid for Big spell mage, but it does need more support. But considering they said that mages will have "big spells in their hand" this expansion, i'm certain we are going to see these amazing big spells they have been teasing for the last 2 expansions and mini set. Lets hope this new big spell mage is going to be really good and fun to play! Because i'll take any kind of GOOD mage deck that isn't spell mage any day.
Wait Sorcerer's Gambit can run this as a freeze spell they can play any time... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Edit: I just remembered this: it's a really bad target for Deepwater Evoker, so maybe BIG spell mage might not even run it.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Reminds me of Pyros, but with spell synergy. They hinted at more frost synergy, which makes me believe that this card will be very handy in a multitude of ways.
Frost Pyros! That card saw minimal play, in Elemental Mage no less, and this won't see much play either. Fun though.
Lots of value here, and since the spells end up in your hand it's also potentially a reason to play Siphon Mana and Celestial Ink Set (and maybe move a little away from Incanter's Flow)
Want it to be good, to be meta, but likely it'll never be.
Pyros was introduced in a much weaker and slower meta and that card never really saw play outside of reno mage. And this card practically apes it at a time where mage really dont play or need minions at all to succeed.
But for what its worth, it provides a decent minion with the dreaded freeze effect. So there's always that. In some form of irony, had this been a minion (and obviously an elemental), it might have carved a niche out in elemental mage, which isn't really bad in of itself. Too bad.
Is good tempo. Quest Mage doesn't want this, even though it's a way to complete the Quest because the later parts are so expensive. I desperately don't want this to see play because I don't need songs from Frozen stuck in my head any more.

Not bad, not good. I do like the "questline" like pay off though

A proactive and relatively cheap spell for Questline Mage. Thank god Arcanist Dawngrasp was nerfed because Build a Snowman covers the lack of proactive Frost spells you can just dump on the board.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

Really nice value and will probably find a home in big spell mage. The snowman and future snow monsters are elementals, but doesn't have elemental synergy seeing as they summoned from spells. Nice value if one of the spells is cast from Magister Dawngrasp

Someone actually posted this on main page when card was initially revelead but I can't stop myself - Do you want to build a Pyros?
I hope there is an achivement for building snowman's that references frozen in some way
So this doesn't fit so much in the big spell archetype, but it does make questline mage a bit more reliable. Previously the hard part was finding enough minions to play your frost spells against. Now you have, not only a frost spell that doesn't need a target, but it also propagates itself giving fuel for the next stage, and it give you board presence. Not too shabby.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Really needs the spell discounts that Mage has, because 3/3, 6/6, and 9/9 for their respective costs seems very mediocre.

I like it, but it feels a bit slow. I'd rather just play Big Spells in my Big Spell decks and not worry about laddering up a smaller one.

Frost Pyros. Olaf easily wins the cute contest though. Will see play because of the new XP achievement.
A strong card overall, might see some play. I can imagine it being specially nasty in arena.
