New Mage Minion - Commander Sivara

I really like this.  4 to get 3 spells and has legs.  Totally worth it.  Too bad it isn't cumulative though :D 

If you get even one Wildfire, or one Rune of the Archmage off this card it's already worth it. Its not about the powerlevel of this card, because it has that in spades. The problem is one of consistency. If you happen to have this card in your mulligan chances are good it'll just give you a coin, and two other cheap spells. May be good, but definitely may not be what you're looking for.

There are ways to control it. Like playing Youthful Brewmaster so the selections are reset. But that's pouring it a bit too thick.

Still think it'll see play, though not rage inducing, unlike most other mage cards for the last 1 year.

Pretty mediocre legendary, but it is value, so maybe a big spell mage might use this? Highly doubtful as it'd be way too slow. Maybe a small spell mage deck, lets say if Mana Cyclone was added to the core set, it might be good.

Sweet value card. I like it! It can be... akward to use sometimes, but you can get some more Wildfires or other spells with it. Just a solid minion. I bet she will see a bunch of play in both Tempo/burn style mage decks, and in slower mage decks just to get more value. Also big spell mage will love this! Glad to see (limited) value cards returning!

Diligent Notetaker on steroids? I guess the main thing is that it will give you the first three spells you casted while holding it, and your deck likely has some spells you want more than others.

Getting three spells back from Sivara can be very good, especially in a Naga deck where you might want those spells to activate other Naga. It could also just be good for getting back powerful spells that you've already cast this game: card draw, board clears, etc. I really like this card, and hope that it finds a spot in some Mage deck.

Could be good, but at the same time, it's really slow and if it's in your mulligan and you play trash spells it's basically just a worse Barak Kodobane.

This seems very hard to use. It copies the first three spells you cast after drawing this, which can put you in some really awkward positions if you draw it at the wrong time and are trying to copy something specific. It can definitely provide good value since it generates three cards, but I card generation is something mage tends to struggle with. Even though this looks powerful, I have doubts that it will see a substantial amount of play.

Dont get too greedy, it is already a great deal of value

Pretty slow card, but if you keep this in your opener, you can get back spells relatively consistently.  A funny thing would be doubling up on Sorcerer's Gambit, but realistically, not going to happen.  Bad top deck, but at least the stats aren't to far behind.  Also, why another Mage Diamond legendary?  I love mage, but dude give it to something else already.

Gets even better with Mage's Siren, this just helps refuel and keep the miracles flowing.

Really strong one. Has good stats, shouldn't be hard to activate, and even if the spells aren't the best, they're still more fuel for the Mage. Should see play!
