    Worse Nerubian Egg...

Is the beast tribe really worth making it harder to kill and losing 1 attack on the thing it summons.

Oh yeah, these Forum Signatures are a thing.

You're comparing it to one of the best cards of all time. I mean, it still sees play in Wild - it's very unlikely they ever release a card that good again.

You mean best egg of all time? Because Nerubian Egg is nowhere near the best card of all time.

I didn't say 'THE BEST'. I said one of the best, and I stand by that.

As someone who just plays wild its only natural to compare it to Nerubian Egg.

Even if you don't look at it from a power level perspective, this card is pretty uninspired. It's just another break for stat stick.  At least with the last egg they added Scarab Egg it went in a different direction with summoning multiple tokens instead of one big minion.

Yes, and I said it's 'NOWHERE NEAR' that. It sees play in a tier 4 wild deck and that's all.

That's exactly the point. It is a card from 5 years ago that is still good enough to see some amount of play in wild. Do you know how many cards never see any fucking play in Wild? And how many more will never be played?

    Who fucking cares anyway.

This is a standard card, and it's the best egg we've had in a while.

Why are you bringing up a card's age to determine its strength in an eternal format? That's not relevant at all.

It's relevant bc of power creep.

    "You served your purpose"-EVIL Genius

It's a slightly worse Nerubian Egg but I think it will definitely have a spot in egg zoo for sure

Nice to have an egg around again.  It's no devilsaur / nerubian but it's pretty solid.

This might be the kind of early game card rogue needs to make a package with the deathrattle dagger work.

Maybe the newer warlock decks use this over/in addition to the scarab egg because that deck seems a lot less interested in going wide.

no, just nerubian egg was too powerful.

You sir should try to actually read what the other person writes. All you did wast to state your opinion after misreading what he/she wrote just to follow up with one argument that doesn't really seem that relevant to me (powerlevel of a card at this point in time to evaluate it's "relevance" throughout it's lifetime). And next you lash out because you misinterpret everything as an attack on your one point when all he/she did was trying to relate that to the actual matter at hand.

I don't want to offend you...but you should really take a moment to reflect on yourself sometimes ... or your discussions will forever be really sad, lonely and ultimately meaningless.

    Cheers

Nerubian is 0/2, which made it enormously better to hatch than this 0/3 (as an anti-aoe card).

That's the major issue with this card, not the 3/4 stats.

And at that point if you want to setup some DR value in Wild, either Nerubian or Ravasaur Eggs are better.

Nonetheless, the card is probably fair enough for Standard.

I guess they don't want an actual nerubian egg in standard, instead they made it a weaker nerubian egg to ensure that other players have much less stress to deal with. Like someone said, it's gonna be okay in standard format.

I don't mind if it was 4/4 with beast tag, as long as the egg still has 0/3 Hp, that would be really fair.
