it's Bash....but bigger.
Not very exciting and not very useful at the moment either. Just run Dyn-o-matic
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
costs 1 less, doesn't destroy your board if you are not playing mechs, gains you armor for shield slam.. not comparable at all to dyn-o-matic..
5 damage destroys most mid game minions...
if you're playing Control Warrior you won't have a board at 5. Dyn-o-matic does 5 damage as well and leaves you with a body, which is the reason why it is so good.
body is better than armor, especially if you're playing Warrior who gets a lot of armor anyways
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This might as well be run alongside Dyn-o-matic. Who said Warrior doesn't like some more removal?
Besides, this expansion is all about dragons, and most of the cards aren't even revealed yet. Nobody said this card had to be run on Control Warrior. If you're playing Dragon Warrior, Dyn-o-matic suddenly becomes really quite bad, and this card starts tp look better. Factoring in the dragon support from Rastakhan's Rumble, Dragon Warrior may see the light of day once again.
???
The art is sick btw.
a lot of armor? how much armor are you getting really? shield block and boom.. that's it.. the other armor is hero power..
besides this is like shield block + shield slam combined, also this clears mechs and costs 1 less also is there something like "too much removal"
it doesn't go into the current CW lists you need to make a dragon warrior..
Warrior is so spoiled for removal options that this likely won't see play until after set rotation, not even in highlander decks. They could have removed the dragon condition and this still would be a below-average card IMO.
Eternium Rover plays a huge part in Warrior's armor gain, as does Boom
there is such a thing as "too much removal" as evident by the fact that Ctrl Warrior doesn't run Execute, despite having access to multiple activators.
And the last one is the reason why it won't see play (now). Dragon Warrior just isn't as good as regular Control Warrior (which isn't that great anymore either). So far there'S little reason to run a dragon themed deck when you can just play regular Mech-Control. Unless Dragons get a huge wincondtion/value generator there's no point in considering them over regular control.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Yeah ! but tbh, I'm disappointed to see Alexstrasza there. It must be Deathwing, Mad Aspect that breaths, not hunter's dragon.
Unpopular Opinion Incarnate
Actually, that's not Alex. Just a random Red Dragon.
But yeah, it's misleading to see mixed flights in classes, given how they are given an Aspect each... It feels clumsy.
Artwork is badass and the effect isn't terrible - deal 5, gain 5 - with a requirement that goes without saying in the appropriate built. This may improve the odds of actually playing that golden War Master Voone I unpacked a while ago and never used.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Will Dragon/Galakrond Control Warrior replace Mech-Boom Control Warrior? Maybe.
After April/2020, mech warrior will be gone. Until then, it stays and, IMHO, dragon warrior will only be a deck recipe that people will try for 2 weeks and then go back to mech-boom....
Its okay. Nothing special.
Never netdeck, craft Whizbang instead!
mehhhh.... really disappointed with this... it's just ok but the art was so sick!!!!
So help me I WILL make Control Dragon Warrior work and this spell will definitely fit quite nicely. Can see some big swing turns coming: turn 10 - drop Emberscale Drake plus this plus Shield Slam for a 5/5 body, +10 armor, plus *15* targetable spell dmg.
Not very useful. Might not see play.
Doesn't feel as strong as the other dragon breaths but still pretty good.
Don't know how great it is, but I love it anyway. Dragon Warrior, here I come; I might just craft War Master Voone.
Obvious good. Dragon warrior will most probably replace mech warrior as the control archetype after rotation, or possibly even during this expansion, and armor+removal seems mandatory. We still need to see what the warrior galakrond will look like, but it seems it will be somehow control oriented, given the cards we've seen and the nature of the warrior class.
This is quite underwhelming. Dyn-o-matic is just so much better!
Its competing a lot with M. Commander, Mummy and Dynomatic, seems decent tho.
Good control tool, so maybe some big dragon warrior is possible?
Warrior has always been the class that had the best Dragon decks (except maybe old school Priest), so I expect it to be a viable archetype. This card is okay for it. Despite being obviously a powercrept expansion, this card feels fair lol
It's a good removal, specially in arena, but in constructed I'm don't think will see much play, warrior have much removal already.
I'm sorry for my bad english :)
Dragon warrior will have some nice cards with Rastakhan's Rumble and now this expansion, but I'm not sure what its win condition is. Maybe it will be Galakrond? We'll have to see if it's good enough to replace mech warrior.
Its nice to see Warrior getting some sort of damage based removal, but the bonus effect on this isn't great. I mean don't get me wrong, Armor is a powerful resource, but 5 armor is worth 1 to 1.5 mana, and paying 4 to deal 5 to a minion isn't impressive at all. Don't get me wrong, its the sort of card warrior just ends up playing but its not great.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
Good addition to Dragon Warrior. But as some already stated, Warrior already hade a lot of removal tools (and weapons).
I'll take it. A good tool for surviving the hyper aggressive Zoo decks we'll be seeing and living long enough to play your fat, scaly friends.
Not bad, I think it is similar to Zilliax in that it will kill a minion and give you more health/armor which will make it a very handy tool for surviving against aggro decks. Killing a 5/5 with this basically means you have protected yourself against 10 damage. This card doesn't look very exciting, but it will without a doubt be very frustrating to fight against.
It will also help setup for a Shield Slam, which can mean that you are dealing 5 damage to two separate minions for just 5 mana.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
Reminds me of Unidentified Shield.
That 2 less Mana definitely makes it at least somewhat viable

Dragon Warrior can already gain a lot of armor. Add this and Heavy Metal! and you are ready for ANNIHILATION.
SMOrc
Control Armor deck. Along with dragons and Boom Scheme and Boom Genius, control is infuriating once again.
It's decent. Will be played in the Galakrond archetype but maybe one copy?
I dont like it, this card will only potentially slightly improve existing removal options. If they would even be necessary in a dragon deck, which tend to be tempo-oriented (armor gain is meh). Big Dragon Warrior might want this, if someone can make it work.
ok removal, might be good in combination with shield slam. does not look insane though as warrior already has good removal at its disposal
Looks like a good Dragon Warrior card. Bash, but better.
Dragon meta bash..except can only target minion while bash can target any..when did we last see bash? Pirate warrior..so we won't be seeing this crap..
A decent card that all dragon warriors will love to include. Reminds me of Bash which was a good removal tool so this should see some play.
More dragons? Yes please!
5 damage for 4 mana and a possibility to get 5 armor - i'd say its good. In heavy taunt or control warrior deck it is definitely playable. We might need this card after the new year rotation.
another removal for warrior, and another good removal
Bash was a good card, this will almost certainly see play as well. Control warriors have often liked to play big dragons anyways
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
Good control card in dragon decks. There are other removal options for warrior that might be better though like Shield Slam or Dyn-o-matic
This card is not awful, but with warriors access to armor gain and removal I just don't see this conditional card being played. Devastate just seems better, and that only saw fringe play also.
Clearly a control tool, but whilst Dr. Boom, Mad Genius is in standard, I don't see a control deck which decides to run dragons over mechs.
Very good, not OP. It may have a hard time justifying a slot before other more powerful and similar cards. But I could imagine that Shield Slam will be HoFed at some point soon.
If dragon warrior will be a thing this is going to be a staple.
We already have a 5 mana 5/5 dragon that give 5 armor if you have a dragon in hand, so i can see that if a dragon warrior will work is going to be pretty good versus aggro decks.
What dragon warriors lacks is either cards to put pressure or cards that let you have a huge powerspike in a turn. Basically they need a way to close the game.
Probably the worst Breath card, not very worthy.
A decent removal.with an upside if you run dragons.
not as strong as other breath cards but maybe that's okay.
I think this will find a place in Galakron decks since you will be hitting with your face a lot.
it's a perfect card for contol style: removal plus armor. This card can be strong in the right deck, but it's the worse "Breath" card released
This plus Shield Slam is easy winning?
Holy Fire but better - seems pretty solid.
i think shield bash is better since it didnt need a dragon
One of the weakest breaths for sure. Warrior did not get much good Dragon synergy this expansion. We will have to see if [Hearthstone Card (Warmaster Voone) Not Found] and the rastakhan dragon package is good enough.
Quite efficient, but does control dragon warrior have enough support?
All the breath cards seem great but this is one of the more defensive ones it seems since you can shield slam and this for only 6 mana I see it being sloted into control galakrand but also its just good in general
Self proclaimed good at battlegrounds
This seems to be the worst breath card. Warrior has better cards for both armor generation and removal.
Yea thats a pretty good comparison I didnt think about. Though it does fill a role that dynomatic couldnt so it could see play.
Decent removal tool on it’s own, useful for not needing a prerequisite to activate it like Execute and Shield Slam do. Even without the potential bonus of armor, I think this card is worth including as midrange removal.
Jaina is best waifu. Always.
OK card but not overwhelming. Given the strong warrior control tools now, not a very high chance to see serious play.
Great removal and a good card for Dragon Warrior. For control too.
Definitely one of the worst breath cards, but that's because Warrior already has dragon support from RR. It's not that bad.
Warrior dragon package is shaping very well. Strong card by itself, even better with dragons. Natural inclusion in Galakrond decks since your health pool is recource for punching things with your face.
Fun and interactive game.
