Lackeys are essentially additional, situational resources/ abilities, and In my opinion ,basically adapt in minion form.
Is it correct to assume they arerestricted to the clssses representing the League of EVIL ?

yeah probably
This plays well into the Echo mechanic.
The first thing that jumps out at me is the Kobold Lackey, a 1/1 for 1 mana that does 2 damage as a battlecry effect. This is comparable to the Elven Archer that is a 1/1 for 1 mana that does 1 damage as a battlecry effect. The 1 extra damage seems good at the same rate as our Basic Elven Archer card.
I hope there will be a lot of cards that generate these tokens. Seems like a nice mechanic.
Did you just call 1 drop with a random 2 mana minion attached underwhelming?
It is a good thing that they'll add lackeys later. That will give them a way to buff\nerf lackey cards should they be too weak\strong.
Right now, only 1 card (rogue one) has the ability of giving you lackeys, so I wonder, what other cards will grant us those very situational, a bit underwhelming, 1-drops?
Will these be available in the discover/random pool? For example, could Ravencaller produce these?
Nope, these are token cards that can be generated only by directly by the cards they get produced (think of Spare Parts from GvG, but as minions).
its really cool that we will get more lackeys in the future.
