  • Unless we see some Silver Hand support in this set, this card's far too weak.

Nice to see Twinspell making a reappearance though.

  • Well, that would be sweet if Silverhands had some actual support.

Still not bad, we've seen that Twinspell shouldn't be underestimated

  • It does have synergy with Righteous Cause.  Not sure if there's still enough support to get that deck going though.

  • Silver hand synergy that doesn't help Odd-Paladin ?
    ... useful? That's 2 x 2 small taunts tho ; never know

  • 2 1/1 is lost in the jungle, the taunt is really annoying, not too many WW effects outside of warrior, it has quite a lot of value for it's cost, it stops 4 attacks against most decks from attacking your face/minions, there should be 2 more paladin cards this expansion I think (3 for each class, 4 explorers 4 neutrals?) since there's a warlock epic..

So maybe it's a shr synergy card, but even without synergy the card is good in my opinion mainly cause of the taunt keyword.

  • Very good stand alone card. Synergy isn't there for it now, but it's eminently playable in a highlander deck.

  • As I try to combo it in my mind:

Righteous Cause on turn 5/6 with the last mana available.

Trying to get at least 1/2 minions to survive on the board by turn seven, then HP + Air Raidx2?

7 mana 10/10 in stats divided in 5 minions + whatever else was on the board from previous turns.

Seems solid... Not OP, just solid.

  • I could see it being annoying in wild, given how many silverhand cards are in there already. Kind of a weird card though, given how much slower it is than silverhand cards usually are

  • Alone, this card is not that impressive. But Aggro/dude paladin has been a thing in the past and may become a thing once again.

It's not that they don't have buffs. They just need a lil bit of synergy and this one can become an auto-include.

  • I think best in class comparison would be righteous defender, which saw a lot of play in aggro decks. I think that if this sees play, it will be to control the board so you can get favorable trades.

  • Is this some Even Paladin support?

Do you mean Righteous Protector? That card literally costs half of what this card costs though. Of course this card has twinspell but aggro decks would much prefer a significant mana reduction to snowball harder.

  • I don't know about this one. I think wild dude decks will fit it in, but there isn't much in standard right now.

  • Could be really good against aggressive Decks. 2 Mana soak up 2 Attack seems fine to me.

Wild: Yay Even-Pally? They get an upgraded Lost in the Jungle and they already have some good Synergies like Lightfused Stegodon and Level Up!

  • This really helps a more aggressive Pure Paladin deck. Take your 4 worst cards out and replace them with this x2 and the buff side quest x2.

  • This is an extremely solid card because it's so flexible and has so much value packed into a single card. Normally, a card such as this would fall off in value considerably later on because the stats get less and less impressive, but the fact that these tokens have taunt, spawn two-at-a-time and can be recast means that this can continue to be a nuisance even later on, it's not just a weenie fountain for aggro decks.

This might even see play in OTK paladin as a one-of, but you can bet this card will see play after rotation so long as there is any viable paladin deck. Terrific card.

  • It feels meh. I can't think of any use in standard. In wild, maybe in even paladin.

  • Pretty decent in standard.... BUT IN WILD IT'S PRETTY GOOD! After all there is some good silver hand stuff that has EVEN mana cost!

Just think about it: Air Raid, Drygulch Jailor, Lightfused Stegodon, Crystal Lion, Level Up!.

And don't forget Air Raid has big synergy with everyones "Favorite" Sunkeeper Tarim. (The tarim combo is Generally better than double Air Raid + Level Up! because of Tarim's stats. This silver hand package might give rise to Even Paladin.

However this card alone in standard is actually pretty decent. its a 2 mana get 2 1/1 minions with taunt. and it has twinspell. If you were to compare Air Raid to Lost in the Jungle, than you see that Air Raid is a lot more flexible. Lost in the Jungle mostly sees play in aggresive decks. This will be the same for Air Raid BUT the 1/1s have taunt! making it kinda like a Mirror Image, which allows it to be played more defensive in a control deck. Yes Air Raid cost's more mana, but is a lot more flexible and allows you to double the total amount of silver hand recruits you can summon. I'm pretty sure were going to see this new card plenty of times!

  • Its a cool card to have, but nothing overly impressive at first glance, we'll see.

  • Potentially insane in wild, but not enough support in standard. It's double Lost in the Jungle for Even Paladin, with taunt!
