Cubicule (Updated)

In case you are new to HearthStone and haven't faced any Carnivorous Cube in action, or lived under a rock for the last few expansions, let me introduce you to the wonders of Cube Warlock. Cubelock - for short, because life is precious - is a mid- to early late-game (if you still follow) archetype that looks to summon and multiply massive Demons, in a constant overwhelming flow - continuously; 3 emphasis to achieve written-cubic-form (meta³) - until an opponent is driven into submission. The dark art spares no one ... that paragraph is draining : enjoy ?
In all fairness, the deck needs no introduction. If anyone wants a mulligan or a proper guide, I'll be happily oblige, but for starter, keep in mind : The Skull of the Man'ari is the corner stone of our strategy here, allowing us to cheat early on Voidlords, Mal'Ganis & Doomguards with no downside and optimal tempo swings, giving you many options and targets for multiplication with our Carnivorous Cubes ; that kind of flexibility is the why this deck is so fun to play - even after a couple hundreds games - as well as being so effective because of situational factors ranging from taunt, heal to outward burst and quasi-OTKs ; picture 5 Charging Doomguards for finisher ^^
The dark art is fair yet tricky, the more you play with this list and the more the fel will infuses your soul and the best your game awareness and hand reading will improve. The Demonology seminar will not be re-conducted due to current world pandemic, but stay tune for late registration fees and refund ... no one was expecting possible returns on their bargain with the devil in exchange of their soul ; thank you for your patience while navigating those challenging times. It has been Hell of a time at our Occult&Mystic Academy. - Dr. Horus, PhD in Demonology & 2 Year in a row regional Occlumency's champion

Why would you put in the Skulking Geist when you have 2 cards that would be removed by it?
We are using our Plague of Flames aggressively early on, and it is always worth a deck slot if it means protecting yourself from various archetypes - mostly to annoy Jade druids - but it also help countering mages ;)
I won't doubt the validity of the geist, I use it in my lock decks. But combined with Plague of Flames in a deck, that is one of the cards that you use to drop cube after it's swallowed something good. But hey, that's me.
Thanks for sharing the deck and the cool guide :-)
One question: How would you feel about swapping the Voidlords with Enhanced Dreadlords? The Lifesteal of the latter's tokens certainly comes in useful, the N'Zoth synergy is still there and you could avoid clogging your board with Voidwalkers when Bloodreaver Gul'dan's or Kanrethad Prime's battlecries hit...
That could indeed be a great add and I'm already curious to play-test a pair. I feel like the lifesteal could be interesting, but definitely not as sticky as 3 more taunts, even if small ones. Either way should keep you alive, except that the [Hearthstone Card (Dreadlord) Not Found] don't have taunt ... We will see!
