In Wild, this might be either a bummer, or a god tier card...

The more I think about it, the more I am convinced Devolve should be a neutral card...

This card could be very powerful. And it fills a void for Paladin, as there are very few good 5 drops outside of the egg for mech builds.

Pretty weak for the mana cost, this would be 1x at best in any deck but likely won't see play at all.

"5 mana - win all your trades this turn"  OR "5 mana Soul of the Forest for Paladin".

This definitely doesn't see play now, but I wouldn't sleep on it.

5 mana seems way too expensive to me.  Just compare it to Unidentified Maul.  Granted theres RNG involved with it, but it can do the same thing for 3 mana and comes with a 2/2 weapon.

Oh yeah, these Forum Signatures are a thing.

5 mana is pretty steep but having fallen in love with the Divine Shield paladin hero power in DH, it may turn out to be more powerful than a lot of people think. It's just one more reason your opponent can't let you build a board.

Imho 5 mana is a bit overcosted (the best price would be 4, see Evolving Spores). I know that in wild paladins have a lot of synergies with Divine Shield and with dudes (odd pala), but I am not really sure that they would run it in their decks. It's just too slow.

I actually think that the cost is good. Anything less and the card is broken AF. It might very well be quite strong rn and odd cost lets it slip into odd paladin decks. But as said already, this card can either be a total dud or a god tier, depending on what other cards are in the mix. This card will be a sleeper card till one day where it will break something ahaha.

If I had to guess, I'd say the justification for having it cost one more than Evolving Spores is that the adaptation is guaranteed and, perhaps, the strongest one you can choose.

I knew someone would mention the "the effect is guaranteed" argument, but, still, is this good enough to run w/o getting a body? I can imagine an odd paladin spamming dudes and buffing them with Quartermaster, but not doing those things and casting Righteousness at the same time. I feel like that spell would be too slow in that deck and would only make their Divine Favor worse.

[edit] I think I may have expressed my thoughts falsely. Ofc I can imagine an odd paladin buffing his dudes with the Quartermaster, this is part of their deck's gameplan (:D), but the thing, which I can't imagine, is how they would manage to combo all of those things for a such heafty price over the course of two turns. I just feel like such turns would feel way too awkward for them and they would prefer more aggressive pushes.

Btw I would like to disagree with you, that the divine shield buff is the strongest a person would get. If I have a board full of small minions and I can't buff them in any other way, then I don't get much value from that divine shield. I would prefer +3 attack or windfury for a crazy amount of burst damage, but everything depends on the board state you are in.

Is this a good enough inclusion for Odd Paladin decklists in wild? It's supposedly ruling the wild meta, and this will only make their wide boards even more annoying to deal with. Could be too slow at 5 mana though.

This seems SUPER weak in Standard. Could be decent in WIld though. We'll see. (Inb4 Blood Knight OTK decks)

Costs too much otherwise it would be broken. Likely won't see play 2/5.

If it's weak in standard then it often is even weaker in wild unless there's some crazy synergy with old cards.

This isn't the case. Card is terribly overcosted.

I like it! It comes off as not too weak, not too strong, just a solid card that if synergized with could be a solid include. Better than most of these 10 cards tbh.
