What does having lived in the Philippines have to do with getting into the beta?

Confirming that it's currently bugged. Beating ANY encounter after getting this task will be considered a success for it.

I've lived in the Philippines for a long time (though I'm actually American). Long story short, this means I was able to get into the open beta.

If you guys want to ask anything about my experience so far, feel free!

Note - Marvel Snap has been released to Open Beta in the Philippines only, so no beta invite is needed here. Any other country still requires an invitation to the closed beta.

Unfortunately, I had the pleasure of wasting 45 min only to find out that the task is bugged. And it was no easy feat climbing trying to keep the pirates alive until the end.

After reading through reddit its confirmed that there's no workaround. Some crazed guy tried only 5 mercs (all pirates), all 6 pirates, no death run, etc. Let's hope for a fix soon

There's a nice comment on OG's video which I recommend you to give it a try. It takes likes 2 minutes and if it doesn't work you can still do OG's suggestion.

Go to BRM Heroic 1 with only Kazakus and Y. I had to restart once because I went into a mono blue encounter. Kaz summons 4 DS Golems and Y uses skill 2. Turn 3 you remove the DS and in T4 you start Rage Unbound. 

Don't waste your time on that one. It says you have to kill the boss in Darkshores, but he's in Sunken City. No matter how many Pirates you bring to the boss alive. No matter if you skip all the Boons. There is no workaround and we just have to wait until Blizzard fixes it.

I had a slightly simpler approach: Y''Shaarj - Balinda (with water elemental) - Tirion. Started the Lord Banehollow bounty in Felwood, at the first encounter killed all opponents except blood imp (who then did nothing except buff adjacent demons for the rest of the encounter), and then used Balinda to knock my own characters' health down while Tirion pumped the blood imp to the point where it could survive three hits.

Don't forget Taliyah/Lissandra better know as Turbo thralls, the addition of Harbinger of Thralls and Sands of Time fixed most of the deck problems and now it's arguably the best deck in the game :

If you keep failing, my suggestion is to stop playing the mode for a couple hours and then come back with your mind a bit rested.

Sometimes we all make mistakes out of stress, which make us even more tilted.

I can guarantee you that Fight Fire with Fire is manageable, so you only need some luck!

This should make you a bit happier.
