Demonxz95 - It's strange seeing Darius on a hunter card lol. Volcanic Forging seems a bit op as it's Mind Blast each turn at worst, and even more toxic immovable object at best (Bulwark of Azzinoth!!!). Legion Expedition seems ok balance wise but i'd suggest different art. The crystal alcoves i like cause it reminds me of Dragon Soul. This at least seems to be playable. One day my precious....
Well shit. I really should've thought of that, but I didn't. I'm absolutely going to need to think of some change to that.
If your complaint is that deck environment is polarised and that you need to address multiple archetypes at once, forcing you make tradeoffs between archetypes then that is just how cardgames evolve that don't want to be as vanilla as basegame LoR
There will always be the go to lategame/control the go to midrange and go to aggro archetype. The challenge ALLWAYS is to build decks that fit into the metagame and I don't struggle to come up with fitting lists right now.
The only aspect about the meta that I find to be a problem is that noxus (one of if not the best region of the patch) relies very heavily on fast skills/spells right now and that Rite of Negation is just insane against it therfore while Quicksand answers pretty much every combat based strategy a bit too well and both are in shurima.
Afterall it's good to have interaction but riot should make sure that a region doesn't get too universal answers as it seems to be the case with shurima right now
This deck and other decks like it are meant to be played in casual or after you reach legend in low mmr legend. It’s not meant to be used for climbing.
Made the quest a bit more interesting and hard to complete. The different mana cost requirement works better with the actual reward and it asks you to keep track of the values yourself. Of course it's possible the enemy does not have minions of 5 different costs but most shadow spells can target friendly minions too, or damage them anyway as they are bilateral boardclears. Could use this to resummon specific minions you want with L'ura for just 5 mana and do some combo!
New idea. No one here decided to go down the hero power reward path of Uldum so i made this. Why warrior and druid? Well, worgens are connected to druids lore wise. As for warrior... idk, armor and attacking stuff i guess. The idea is that you basically have a 2 part her power. You can only use the human form if you triggered the worgen form. Of course you can just go face with the worgen form, but the quest is viable as both control and aggro strategies.

CursedParrot - Not a fan of cards that are basically "add this older cooler card to your hand".
linkblade91 - Mad Summoner into Hagatha's Scheme otk. Idea is cool, near impossible to balance sadly. And i think shaman has had enough game winning quest rewards, right? xD
MrRhapsody - Giving all minions charge is a really bad idea (see Mr. Smite). The second reward doesn't really have synergy with the quest requirements. I guess it works for eggs but on the warrior side the enrage and self damage minions kinda suffer.
Patches that balance every aspect of the entire champion and deck archetype roster are good
We got 2 of those.
Expansions that result in the meta boiling down to 3 Annie decks, 3 Bard decks, 3 Illoi decks and Viego card piles are bad.
Meanwhile established archetypes drop 3-5% winrate which are largely more interesting
So pretty sure this is as calculated and accurate as a meta oppinion can get.
Like the fact that Illoi has Tahm Kench stats while being an Elise is dumb she puts up 56% winrates in every deck.
Bard and Annie are problematic for different reasons for restricting deck building. One guarantees you outscale your opponent and the other has guaranteed lethal in certain situations.
None of this is good and healthy for the game, and I wouldn't be surprised to see players taking a solid break till this stuff gets tweaked.
Don't expect any rational discussion from Nifty the guy post has been nothing but hot takes and knee jerk reactions plus getting all passive aggressive whenever someone disagree with him. As you said it's just ranting for rant sake.
Theres one very weird bug with the passives granted to nagas in mercs. Its supposed to grant all nagas +3 speed and reduce damage by 3, but what it does instead is to grant one merc this passive and then it jumps to another merc each turn.
Really makes the naga build unviable in pve, simply because its just more efficient to run other builds that actually benefit from passives.
@Cursed the new requirement is much better I think, as it's something that ties into the reward and both classes like to do. For the reward, though, I'd go with the previous one, but removing the Stealth and Lifesteal.
@Demon the DH/Warrior Quest is my fav of all you posted so far.
If you put bold coding in the middle of the word, it should get rid of the bolding, so for example, if you write "Corrupter" instead of "Corrupter" into the textbox, then it'll display "Corrupter" on the text of the card without bolding "Corrupt".
I do feel like this new Quest is probably better designed, but I don't really see a practical reason to run the Quest and go through the objective over just running one of those Old Gods in your deck instead. I suppose for the time it's in Standard, it would give you a way to play them again.
I just got TPK'd by these assholes. I've lost to plenty of bounty bosses and heroic encounters, but I don't think I've ever had a TPK on NORMAL to a random encounter. Can't believe how unbalanced these guys are.
What do you mean?! Targon's peak? What meemer is playing this right now?
Viego might be a bit boring as it wins 90% of times through flinging a legion desserterBADCARDNAME into the opponent's face but "synergistic crap"?! I thought synergy was the point of deckbuilding.
To me the expansion made many decks much more viable, not just thralls and I am far from bored from it.
But then it might be that you simply don't like noxus to be the new bandle city of the set, don't like how Disintegrate removes Lee Sin from any viability don't like how games now actually aren't about cycling at all (or was it you who hated that aswell?)
Whoever told you that Illaoi is the only true champion of the patch gave you pretty bad information as aside of Jhin all champions found a decent place in the meta and I really don't see how worldweaker failed on the pvp side

Elaborate, explain your affirmation.
What do you consider wrong and "doesnt synergize with anything found in this decklist"
Until then, your affirmation is invalid and incorrect.

This is a very very nice deck, but is literally unplayable in this aggro meta, no way to comeback on board against pirate rogue or similar
