What's up with referring to elemental lords as "it"? World of Warcraft canon consistently refers to them with "he/him" pronouns, so I find it creepy and disrespectful that you'd go out of your way to try to erase their gender, especially when calling Ozumat a "patriarch" in the same article.
So, I finally did it and beat Popsicooler. Thanks for the support and advice, guys.
In the end, it was absurdly simple. I got the "Attack until you die" treasure for Mutanus. So Murky gave Popsi taunt and I let Mutanus loose. Attacking into the trolley and Popsicooler first because of taunt, each attack increasing Mutanus' attack value because of Murky's Time to Krill equipment and dealing 40+ damage to Popsi while only getting hit back for 2 damage meant that at the end of round 1 I had: a suicided Mutanus, no trolley, no Popsi, Popsi's blue add down to 50 health and the green add rather healthy. From then on, it was easy pickings: Turn 2, the blue add was down and the green one alone was no match for the rest of my team.
By the way: Task 10 then - first try on heroic with the fire comp + N'Zoth allowing me to complete the task and get the N'Zoth equipment at once.
Good job! That sounds like it was an epically fun final match!
Dont know why, but we're nearly two months in and I hardly noticed. Perhaps for once in some time I feel like Im actually playing hearthstone.
There's likely going to be a neutral colossal, but I dont think its nzoth. Likely its Ozumat instead. I feel that team5 would prefer to keep the old gods together for the most part. Instead, nzoth's fish is likely to appear, perhaps as the mandatory useless miniset epic.
Im more interested to seeing whether neptulon can finally make an appearance that isn't completely embarrassing like the last time. But if ozumat is in, then neptulon will very likely be as well.
You need to explain this better. I have no idea how you are getting five different aggressive 1-drops with skills and four 2-drops with skills as well.
The only 1-drop with a skill that I see is demolitionist. 2-drops, also don't see many of them there either.
Since Annie is Noxian you have access to Noxus aggro package cards like Legion Rearguard and Precious Pet even if they don't have skills, Crackshot Corsair ability is also counted as a skill by the game.
I honestly don't think that this is the teaser for the mini-set and that for multiple reasons.
The patch definetely launches next Tuesday. (The merc event lasts until 23.4 and the timer ends on Tuesday)
That would be 49 days into the sunken City expansion which is way sooner than any of the mini-sets released (65, 65, 91, 70 days)
They previously announced that all X.4 patches are going to focus on Mercenaries. "the team will be shifting its major content beats to the X.4 patches."
They implied that the patch will focus on Mercenaries, just like how X.2 patches focus on Battlegrounds: "This shift will allow Mercenaries to have its own big moment like the other major modes do".
This would mean that they aren't adding anything major for the other modes in the same patch
Aside of a bunch of new mercs and bounties (I expect around 15-30) I also anticipate that they are going to release one of the major features they announced in the past. Kinda like how Battlegrounds added one big feature/gameplay element like Darkmoon Prices, Quillboars, Buddies etc. with their major updates. Those already announced major merc features include:
A way to spend excess coins "that adds power and specialized traits to your max level mercenaries"
A new pve endgame system "that's going to challange your whole collection"
Legendary bounties (were announced as post launch content all the way back in the mercs announcement stream)

I really don't wanna have a game where they patch other mode and ends up messing up coding in an entirely different mode. Just like what happened recently. Or better yet, hire more QA tester instead of IDK, fired them off.
EDIT. If they go with it, players can choose a lighter size of apps instead of all of them in 1 big app. Size does matter.
People say this about every live service game. I honestly think compared to any other modern game with consistent updates, HS is in a pretty good place. Bugs get fixed fast and never are somewhat rare to come across in a normal game of HS.
edit: Though if you do wanna see some funny bugs you should check out Hearthtech

Have they ever mentioned anything about the Alterac board in constructed causing disconnects? It's a very real, reproducible bug.

How about a Colossal? A neutral one, summoning a large board, like their other incarnations.

Imperial Demolitionist is a 2 drop I think you meant Legion Saboteur.
Since Annie is Noxian you have access to Noxus aggro package cards like Legion Rearguard and Precious Pet even if they don't have skills, Crackshot Corsair ability is also counted as a skill by the game.
As for the the 2 drops you have access to Boomcrew Rookie, Imperial Demolitionist, The Stagehand and Tusk Speaker.

Maybe N’zoth will appear in fish form in some way? The N’zoth fish was in the expansion teaser but never appeared in sunken city.

I'm gonna say this.
Battleground needs a platform on their own.
Mercenaries also needs a platform on their own.

On a sidenote, they still haven't fix "Acquired Taste" achievements yet. Maybe wanna add that to the list.
