Exactly my thoughts when I saw diamond SIvara. Like, damn, Mage already has Balinda and Jandice (Alongside with Rogue), why they printed 3rd diamond card for them?
I wonder why they went with a Diamond Sivara, instead of the choice that seemed more obvious to me in Queen Azshara. I guess they didn't want to make the generated cards Diamond...but they could have just been Golden or somethin'. She is a main character and Queen of the Naga, and the Mage has a couple Diamond cards already.
All well. Still excited, because a lot of the skins look pretty cool!
i wanted to realy get leeroy but last time i played the game was when blackrock was the final bounty. basically a bit after they nerfed the air elemental. the grind stopped being fun cause of how exhausting it was whereas the air elemental grind wasnt, which is funny since they nerfed it in order to avoid ppl being bored by grinding it lmao.
so i played it again and reached alterac valley but i just couldnt go more, with time restraints i have and i didnt even reached Onixya lair so sadly im not getting Leeroy. not fun walling this card behind the last bounty forcing us to go through all the others first
More than you'd think. Wether it's as a main mode, a routine to grind the daily tasks, a way to kill off a couple minutes or to experience the regular bounty additions.
I'm at Level 186. I have 9,655 gold in the bank, and I would've had 10k+ if I didn't buy some Mercs packs a couple of days ago. I'm seriously thinking whether to splurge my gold for the new expansion or buy Mercenaries packs. The new expansion doesn't excite me, honestly.
Only a week to go until rotation hits and the rewards track resets, so I think I'll be able to accomplish my personal goal of reaching Level 200. I just need to squeeze in time to actually play, because work is coming down on me like a ton of bricks.
Hope everyone else is happy with their progress!
Merc packs aren't really value for money though. Its way easier to just grind up for the merc you want than chancing it on packs. Besides, we're due to get three packs from beating Mi'da on April 5th anyway.
Sunken city may not look good, but its still the first expansion so its cards are likely to see play. Still better than spending it on mercs anyday.
Hearthstone’s product teams are assholes. I don’t think devs are to blame here at all. This is awesome, but probably won’t be added to the game. It’s just not profitable. T
A report system would solve a lot of issues, but there is no intention for that. Maybe under MS rule, though the costs are probably not justified.
I mean, imagine how much spaghetti code they have since there are so many bugs all the time and stupid ones too (which means their database is all over the place, with hidden logic and other similar things). Bringing in a new system would probably make the bnet launcher stop working and your game crash on most interactions with it.
While i liked the ideas of this article, i think everyone just overcomplicates everything. Why have guilds in HS? Lets move away from WoW please. What do we really want? A way to complete quests with other people and a way to talk to other people. No need to even give specific rewards - the goal is NOT to fake-force everyone into joining a group/guild (and we know a lot care about cosmetics).
All we need is a lobby and moderated chat rooms. Ofc, listing priority for people near your area or in the same country as yourself. Sure, chat is gonna be full of "LF daily quest X - need to spectate you". Or "LF spectator that can provide some gameplay tips too".
True interaction comes when people help each-other willingly. I don't see myself being in a tavern with 49 other people just for the sake of it (also, how do i find THAT tavern which is suited for me?). Sure, in that lobby we could create chatrooms with 100+ people if we wanted to - but it depends how many people can spectate you at once.
And the rewards they get for wasting their time with you. See, it's a rather hard thing to do when this game forces you to play a lot to achieve anything. If it were designed in a way to allow your collection to actually be useful (instead of 2% of it), then it would be a nice system to have.
But it's not. The game is specifically tailored for whales to keep it going, and for the parents' debit cards. What would they gain out of a system like this? Well, nothing really. They'd be forced to give away more rewards so that more people actually use it (beyond the fringe cases that will be online in the lobby just for chatting and wasting time). More rewards equal less money in the short term.
And Blizzard's leadership is(was?) clearly on a run to maximize short term profits over investments, because it/he wanted to fill those pockets before going away (either to jail, or post-MS era). These kinds of people are the true crooks and the reason why we can't have nice things in most games anymore.
I feel the same way: there's a big chance that the Core Set will change things up (Zilliax and the whole Magnetic package?), but we haven't had a Mech deck in a long while, so I am down for anything Team 5 has come up with!
The funny thing about Nifty's argumentation to me is that he puts it like Lee Sin being counterable by removal to be a bad thing.
There are only a handful of effective counters to Lee Sin he arguably has too little counterplay. Minimorph was literally desinged to deal with the likes of Lee Sin yet ofc Nifty argues lee not being protected enough to matter :^)
By the way I have an idea how to nerf lee sin without killing him:
Reduce his health by 1 and change his lvl 2 to: when I challenge a unit give me overwhelm and quick attack this round and Nexus strike: create a fleeting dragon's rage in hand, it costs 0 this round.
This way Lee sin has to actually beat the units that he is atttacking into and he needs multiple enemy units to deal devestating nexus damage.
The idea of introducing guilds is exciting! This can be an internal platform for receiving news, as well as for social and gaming interactions. The guilds can also be the basis for the introduction of raids.
If this great idea was done by a single person outside Hearthstone team, and we haven't see any upgrade to Hearthstone to social aspects even after 7+ years, then there must be something wrong inside that company.

Leeroy Jenkins Mercenaries Event Ends Tomorrow - Complete all Tasks for Sweet Rewards!
This event was much easier than Chi-ji event, it was really fun and rewarding.
Let's hope they make event like this every month.

If they displayed a "!" notification on Mercenaries mode as much as they do on the shop, I might remember to check my training grounds.

Let me translate your statement: I don't have fun with it, therefore nobody has fun with it.

Nope, literally nobody. I spent hours and hours writing these guides just because I enjoy wasting time. Come on...

Personally, I play it occasionally but also often forget the mode exists. Same goes for Battlegrounds though.
