I lost to deck recently, opponent kept playing secrets every turn :D (how do you play around it, at some point I couldn't check for some secrets effectively)

I think my opponent played Misdirection secret and RNG decided that I hit his buffed Crossroads Gossiper (with my weapon)...

It was quite embarassing to lose to :D

After a few tries, the Holy gang and I prevailed! I swapped Wrathion for Leeroy; the Tail Swipe ability came in handy, though none of his treasures lend much to this group.

Apparently there's some rare card named 'mothership', that's not yet revealed for sunken city. We'll find out in 15 hours.

As for the new track. The skins looks interesting, but at this point there's just so many of them that they really just dont stand out as much. Ambassador Faelin as a druid class? I guess you need to put him somewhere.

The cardback mystery quest will still be available after the patch, right?

Well at least we know the achievement xp will be over tomorrow,

Too bad they didn't give us another week since the new set come next week,

SEASON CLOSING FAREWELL!

"Priest is always the class to close the Class Master Tournament season and this time RadePPPP from Denmark won against Sakib from Finland! Sakib having already won Warlock and Mage, couldn't make a third entry as a challenger for the priest throne and how unfortunate not to be able to see Sakib, the rising start, going against Zoltan the top player of the tournament...

One more season has come to an end and the feelings are bittersweet. The war in Ukraine has seriously affected Class Master as Zoltan who is an Ukrainian player has vanished since day one of the war. With him missing we also had no way of concluding our tournament in a healthy way, nor we had the opportunity to proceed to our second round of our tournament called "The Class Master's showdown". 

Once again, as we did with the closing of our first season, we are going to take about a month or so away from the tournament, to assess our data and come back stronger with the third season! We will for sure miss posting on Hearthpawn and outofcards forums and we would like to take the time, to thank both forums for hosting our tournament news and progress! We really appreciate it, thank you so much!

And now some closing words from the tournament organiser:

"...I had some double thoughts on posting this here but I think that Zoltan wouldn't mind me doing it because after all it does not include any personal information or any information at all that could potentially harm or expose him in a bad manner. I also do not want to overdramatise things or try to sell drama here. I truly don't. These things do not happen every day and this posting here is more of a statement itself of how war destroys everything from minor things like a mere Hearthstone tournament to all that is sacred and the very concept of life as we know it.

I'm trying to wrap my mind around this but no matter how hard I try I simply can't comprehend what is happening. There IS war actually happening in Ukraine but my mind tends to believe that Zoltan just got bored or he just left 121gameon.com (his latest activity was in 13/2/22). There must be some sort of a prank playing on me somehow... For some reason my mind cannot settle with the fact that Zoltan is actually in a war zone and his life is in danger, even if he has told me he lives near Russia and I take it that he is on the eastern side of Ukraine. So I have decided to post two screenshots of our chat on twitter, just the last words we exchanged, leaving out my final replies to him that have been left unanswered, so maybe you feel what I feel. I never new the guy up close but he was part of something I love dearly and that made him instantly part of my life, like all the other players who are all in for my tournament. 

...I hope it's not lame of me to post this here, I don't know, some times we make mistakes and bad judgements, if you believe that it is inappropriate what I did please let me know so I remove it. I surely meant no harm. I just hope he is doing alright and that he is somewhere safe, that's all... and this of course goes for all people. I wish I could do more about it, I think we all do. I mean, Balinda Stonehearth was a Diamond card last set, so the selection seems kind of random.

I am level 400 so I have no reason to panic...

i was a strong defender of this game mode i didnt buy the dead mines mini exp and didnt save much gold for alterac valley cause i dumped it all on mercenaries. then the air elemental nerf hit and the game turned into a much longer grind fest, i stopped playing and judging by my friends list i wasnt the only one as they went from more than half playing it to like 1 out of 10 play it. the air elemental mystery stranger nerf really hurt this game mode

They clearly wanted to adapt existing, non-basic heroes for... some reason. It's a step up from the umpteenth version of the basic guys I guess. What I don't really understand is that they must have had the voice actors around for the Sunken City legendary minions (non-colossal ones), so wouldn't it be easier to give us those guys instead? Seems like it would be a win-win to me, though I suppose I don't know the details of their pipeline. Kaldori Vashj and Handmaiden Tyrande do at least make good sense to appear here, so maybe some mix? No one would complain.

Varian got a Diamond and he as much or less to do with the expansion then Azshara, basicly just most important lore character that is in the set

Right? Hooktusk was an obvious choice in my opinion; instead we get a new Maiev.

That would be cool, but the spells don't even exist within the game in Diamond form. Same story with Diamond Jandice generating Golden minions unless she happened to summon Benedictus.

Of all the diamond cards ever made, only Varian and Ragnaros are massively significant to WoW lore, and diamond Ragnaros was never even Standard. It seems to me that they tend to choose the diamond candidates based on the flavor and mechanics of the Hearthstone expansion.

Having a "big name" in WoW has nothing to do with it unless the character just coincidentally happens to be used for some concept that's important to Hearthstone.

I just hate how on the initial show screen, 2 quests were managed to be mispelled. like, hello....? you put so much effort in this, and then you managed to spell your first 2 show off quests wrong??

I like that they went with giving every class a skin this time. I'm not sure about druid and shaman being the two that get a second one though; those classes had no lack of options to begin with. Where's my Hooktusk dammit!

There's no way the vfx team has time to make diamond versions of every spell in the game. If they ever make a diamond spell I'm sure it'll work with that though. Given how much they like to make diamond cards out of mage legendaries (sigh) that doesn't even feel that unlikely lol.

I guess they didn't want to make the generated cards Diamond...but they could have just been Golden or somethin'. She is a main character and Queen of the Naga, and the Mage has a couple Diamond cards already.

All well. Still excited, because a lot of the skins look pretty cool!

Maybe azshara will have something special like had with diamond vandar/drekthar, cause if not. Its a huge missed opertunity.

Seems weird to me isnt a diamond queen Azshara s the free diamond Nor the collect 25 legendaries, when she is pretty much the icon of the set...
