Might be a bad assumption but it looks like its Abyssal Commander Sivara who was the first boss in Eternal Palace(aka the Azshara Raid in WoW). Makes me wonder since We've seen both the first boss and the second boss(Blackwater Behemoth) if most of the other bosses will also be made into cards. Since it does look like one of the last reveals to be Zaqul's shoulders.
Sounds ..awkward. Gotta see what the Demon Hunter Dredge cards are, but otherwise this is really slow and not even that well-statted to run in Deathrattle decks. Maybe if they yeet Inquisitor from the Core set this becommes the dedicated finisher
Reminds me a lot of Hex Lord Malacrass. I'm not sure if the effect is stronger or not - the greater control is in competition with the fact you didn't need to worry much about when you drew Malacrass. So the biggest difference is that this costs 4 instead of 8, which is obviously a big deal. So it has got more hope than Malacrass did, though I don't recall him having any meta presence so who knows if that means much.
Oh, and I guess this confirms Azshara will be neutral, which is nice for the non-mage Azshara fans out there.
Of course, team5 can't help themselves but print something like this. Oh well, at least this card costs 4, while mozaki, Incanter's Flow and Cram Session are rotating, thank god.
The only significant thing I can see from this card is either returning big spells, like Rune of the Archmage, or generating more Wildfires. Both are fairly scary, but this card doesn't necessarily allow you to choose what comes back, since it (assumingly) will return the first three spells it remembers while in your hand.
Its a mixed bag for me. On the one hand this can easily be one of the best cards in mage so far, or its simply too inconsistent to ever be good.
Also, I wasn't aware that nagas can actually look like spider ladies. I thought the physiology is almost always snake like.
An elf puts a naga to the bottom of the deck, kinda like elves turning into nagas after Azshara's deal and living in the depths afterwards. Cool flavour.
I like it because its practically support for an archetype I like, which is deathrattle dhunter. But will deathrattle dhunter even feature in the next meta? I mean its practically nonexistent since stormwind broke out.
Though the naga assassin is really strong, for a variety of reasons, I feel that its just too slow for aggro to use as an end game. Redundant in fel or quest dhunter too. But being a smaller Leeroy Jenkins may well be enough payoff that aggro decks would just slot it in, despite my personal misgivings.
Its basically a slightly weaker Leeroy Jenkins for dhunter, with an additional condition, which may or may not turn out to be a condition at all. But at very least there's no chance of top decking a charge minion out of nowhere.
So far in the reveals, it seems like team5 would want us to be playing midrange deathrattle dhunter in the next meta. Because this card may be only playable in that specific deck. Just too slow for aggro, too weak for the current fel dhunter deck, and is useless in quest dhunter.

It appears that Riot doesn't publish that information for LoR. I have no idea why.
Apparently, the best the playerbase has gotten from Riot on this topic is that Platinum or higher counts as "high" rank.
The playerbase is apparently in the low millions, but no more than 2k make it to Masters in a given 2-month season (and lately that number is even lower than it used to be). I'm sure a significant percentage of the overall playerbase never really plays ranked mode.
Anyways, yeah - no official numbers from Riot. If I had to guess, the distribution is probably similar to LoL, with the majority of players in Silver and Gold. It's very easy to get Silver. Pretty easy to get to Gold. Significantly harder to get to Platinum than to get to Gold. And from there, you have to be genuinely quite good at the game in order to climb through Plat into Diamond and then into Masters.
I don't know if this will be amazing, but it looks like it should be pretty good. It also synergizes with every tribe, which means it could potentially fit in a variety of decks. I always try to identify every tribe in the art in these amalgam cards, and I'm failing to see a few. I should look up a bigger version of the artwork at some point.
I have to wonder how easy this will be to make free. Paladin definitely has a lot of Holy spells, so I doubt heavily discounting this will be a problem. I'm not sure, but I guess 3-4 mana is where you'd want this card to be at the maximum. Blessing of Authority is 5-mana, but it also prevents the target from attacking heroes the turn it's played.
Not sure what to say here, other than every Pirate Warrior deck is probably going to be including this. Well, maybe. The ship needs to die first, which makes this pretty slow, but the payoff looks extremely nice.
Hand Druid new archetype? I guess 5-6 mana is about the standard for drawing 3 cards without some drawback or condition, judging from Skull of Gul'dan or Hand of Gul'dan. Of course, actually playing Hand is a last resort, and you really want to get the outcast effect off Skull. I'd call this a combination of Hand of Gul'dan minus discard synergy and Dark Alley Pact. Both those would add up to 10 mana, and the summon from Pact doesn't even have taunt.
Well, this would probably be op as a Mage card. In Druid, it could still be pretty powerful. I'd assume this summons minions based on the order you play spells, so if you had this in your hand early and played cheap spells at first, the board would be full of cheap minions and it couldn't summon that many big minions. I think many of Druid's big spells are rotating anyway.
