  • New Rogue Spell - Tooth of Nefarian

Probably too much work to get the discover.

  • New Priest Spell - Horn of Wrathion

Drawing a minion and getting 4 damage removal for 3 mana seems pretty good, but dependent on how good Dragon Priest will be.

  • New Paladin Spell - Ring of Courage

Well, this certainly looks potentially powerful. Maybe even a Blessing of Authority without the can't attack heroes this turn restriction if the opponent's board is wide enough.

  • New Mage Spell - Drakefire Amulet

Too bad a lot of good dragons are good because of their battlecries. There's a few I wouldn't mind summoning, but I think the choices from the discover will all be bad more often than not.

Tks - I will try it

  • Meta evolution

Have played 20 games thus far and faced maybe 2 decks with new cards.  The rest is the same old toxic crap - Face Hunter, Hero Power Mage, Pirate Warrior, Freeze Shaman, Libram Paladin, and Ramp Druid with zero new cards.

  • New Druid Spell - Scale of Onyxia

Well, Arbor Up is leaving soon. This will probably still be scary with a Power of the Wild or 2, assuming that's still around.

  • New Neutral Minion - Mi'da, Pure Light

Might be some decent healing. Mostly because if it dies it comes back if you draw the Fragment.

  • The Perfect Match - Card Design Competition Discussion Thread

Not much activity this week. Some feedback:

    linkblade91
Pretty cool idea, probably my fav so far. It fits both classes extremely well, both mechanically and in terms of flavor (mushrooms are perfect for both Shaman and Druid).

Sorry, I don't have nothing to add here.

    Demonxz95
Too memey for my taste. In terms of balance, I was gonna propose making it cost 3, but then I remembered Rock Rager exists, so it should probably stay at 4.

    BloodMefist
I'd probably go with Ambitious Acolyte, even if it steps a little bit into Rogue's identity. The cards it supports are quite cool, especially Envoy Rustwix.

I'm not a fan of Void Wisp, because cards that are not meant to be played feel a bit artificial to me, if that makes any sense. I'd probably buff its Health to 2 if you decide to go with it, since this "weakness" would be less apparent that way.

    SkeithDE
The Perfect Challenge should be a Paladin card, IMO. Setting stats is pretty much a Pally thing, and flavor-wise it fits both Warrior and Paladin just the same. Also, the word "Cost" should be written with capital C. It's probably my favorite of your cards, but the crowded text might put off some people.

Chill Out is a pretty interesting twist of the Freeze mechanic, while also not being too complex. That said, I'd probably rise its Cost to 2, since most of the time, you won't mind playing it last (this is also the reason I prefer The Perfect Challenge, this is basically a cheaper Frost Nova most of the time).

Schreeching Nightworm is also my least favorite of the bunch. It's also not very clear what happens after you Silence it many times.

    Aerojulwin
I like it. Very flavorful and fitting for Priest. I think I prefer the -2/5 version.

I've enjoyed messing around with Kazakusan Priest, and even climbed a bit with it. If Questline Hunter becomes a top tier meta deck in the next week or so, I could see it being a serious tier 2 deck because of how much healing it has. But unlike Deathrattle Priest it has no armor gain and puts on very little pressure, so it will take a pretty serious beating if any OTK deck survives the mini set meta changes.

  • The Second Hearthstone Content Update of 2022 Is Live With Patch 22.4 - Onyxia's Lair, All Game Mode Additions, & Various Improvements

It is probably better to not see the achievements at all instead of having broken ones presented to us. However, this just further reinforces our perceptions that their QA department is lacking. How on Earth could they miss that TWO achievements are not present inside this patch? Please, do not reply with some generic reasons to defend developers and/or testers. I am developer myself and this can only be perceived as below par quality.

  • Full Patch Notes for Runeterra's 3.2.0 "A Curious Journey" Patch - Expansion, Balance Changes, Arcade Event Skins, & More

Ahri nerf is well-deserved, you want champions to be strong, but not THAT strong. Wayfinder joins the club of unplayable allegiance cards. Ahri Kennen definitely needs to change now, away from an allegiance deck, but it's impossible to tell what it'll look like in the end.

Iceborn Poros may not have been top tier, but Iceborn Spiders kind of was, it's the strongest Freljord + Shadow Isles deck before the patch. Iceborn Legacy might still have a place in more traditional Poro decks, the ones with Aurora Porealis, but those are definitely not going to be competitive meta decks.

I'm concerned the Whiteflame nerf may not have been enough, Pantheon decks were already top tier before the patch and that was despite being hard countered by Ahri Kennen. With the substantial power-up that is represented by Yuumi's release, there's a good chance Pantheon will become the next meta king.

  • Swain Hopium!

I am looking for a serious Swain/Shaman build and I wanted to get some thoughts and ideas on this to make it viable.
So far this is my list: https://outof.cards/legends-of-runeterra/decks/15837-shaman-king-swain

  • Nozdormu Necrium Dragon Rogue

I just want to comment on one of my favorite decks. It almost wins every time if you don't draw Deathwing. But other than that, if opponent doesn't have board clear, it's almost always concede or death.

  • Our Thoughts on Onyxia's Lair's New Shaman, Warlock, Warrior & Neutral Cards Coming to Hearthstone

My bad: I always read the card as it would "absorb" any floated mana crystal, but that's not the case

  • Our Thoughts on Onyxia's Lair's New Shaman, Warlock, Warrior & Neutral Cards Coming to Hearthstone

Gear Grubber would be 3 mana if you didn't hero power turn 2,
2 mana if you also skipped turn 1

  • Our Thoughts on Onyxia's Lair's New Shaman, Warlock, Warrior & Neutral Cards Coming to Hearthstone

So good they gave it to Priest too!

  • Beat That Bounty Boss!

Heal power is a keyword just like Spell damage is, but instead it increases your healing abilities by 1 for each stack

  • Beat That Bounty Boss!

    Pro

Does anyone know how "Heal Power" works? It seems to increase healing, but I can't find anyplace where it specifically explains how. The Balinda bounty kicked my ass twice because she set my Mercs to 1 health and I didn't yet know how to use that against her. Anduin's Holy Nova did the trick on my third try.

  • Missing Hearthstone Card Backs

    Staff Pro

I'm aware but do appreciate other folks wanting to see stuff up to date : )

We've got a problem with our card back rendering right now that is being worked on. Those 7 are all queued to get uploaded once the renderer issue is resolved.

Update: Updated with renderer fixes. Also been wanting to adjust our sorting of the gallery for a while now so I'm mostly happy with our new categories. I do want to split the rewards track stuff up though. Also, I'd like to eventually have the gold prices for each card back as well so that we could show people which ones they can buy in-game. Lot of cool stuff we could do, so little time.

  • New Neutral Minion - Kazakusan

Definitely looks cool, but comes down pretty late. Might not be that great because of that.

  • New Warrior Spell - Shoulder Check

This looks like it could be quite nice. I'm not even sure when you would want to trade it. Maybe against one of those decks that hardly play any minions.

  • New Warrior Spell - Hit It Very Hard

Well, if you use it to remove a big minion, you'll probably take a lot of face damage, so maybe the cost is good. I'm fairly certain Warrior has better ways to remove shit though.
