Oh man that's the first skin I'm unironically considering spending money on, it's reaaally pretty and it's a huge upgrade over the goofy-faced regular Lunara (which I still love btw)
Feels like I had the right idea. Quest Hunter feels ultra-broken now. Consistency is now off the charts, you basically have two more Kodobanes + a self-replacing quest progress + lategame burn. It eats aggressive decks for breakfast. I ran into both a Shadow Priest and a Hunter who had Trogg turn 1 and I beat both of them.
It eats minion-based decks alive, it shits on control decks too by just being faster at pushing out damage. Slate makes it so you can come back from just about any bad board state. The only thing that beats it is consistently is burn or really fast ramp into escalating threats.
I played with no Legend Budget decks and had a better winrate than any current vicious syndicate tier2 decks. And I sucked last season!
edit: eg last deck. my opponents play cards nobody plays. I can't play around them. Like the Priest caravan. Opponent was dead, but he/she/it can expandable perforfancers out it 3 times, which was exactly one more than enough. Or some Druid whom I killed both 2/4 summon stuff agin which costs <2. He/she/it had a macigal 3rd one....
This was not supposed to be a salt thread, but I'm getting more and more salty.l The only reason to explain this, that HS Mathematics a right and HS is dying and I'm just facing pros. Noobs are gone.
I hate to tell you this, but it sounds like you are the kind of player who can only win when you know what you're up against. If the opponent runs weird cards or a completely off-meta deck, you don't know what to do. You're not alone -- there are plenty of players like you. But what this means is that you were 100% correct when you said you are not a good player.
You need to improve on the fundamentals. I recommend watching some people play Arena or watching an educational Arena basics video. The knowledge of tempo vs. value, making good trades, when to use your health as a resource -- all of this transfers to Standard, especially when you are facing decks you've never seen before.
Personally I will be trying out a control Warlock that hopes to ruin your day with Tamsin and a couple of 1 mana spells that won't be fun for any of you if it works. Low minions so gonna top it off with Kazakhstan or whatever its name is.
Does anyone know if it works if you have zero minions in deck?
Cora confirmed in a tweet that Kazakusan works just fine if you have no minions at all.
So the epic skins now also have new effects and not just a level up animation. Glad to see that they listened to some of the criticism regarding their skins.
Arena maybe? This current meta has people blowing their mana each turn. Even the control decks are doing that a lot. Not often is there a time when you aren't using your mana each turn. I'm not seeing this be viable without a shift in the meta .
3 mana for a 1/5 phat butt that draws you cards as long as it isn't outright killed? I'm game. Paladin for sure has the ability to really abuse this, but anything that can heal is going to get a blast out of this. I"m just glad that Frenzy cannot be retriggered after it's been healed fully.
Maybe I'm missing something, but does this first verify that your deck only has Dragon minions, and then replace the whole thing? That sounds just awful. Thankfully for those that want to play this card the Bad Luck Albatross will be rotating soon to keep them from getting stuck with a dead card activation in hand. I think it will find meme status, and at the least be fun to dink around with, but I don't see it being competitive.
10 mana to punch a minion in the face and potentially leave a board of 2/1s along with this fatty at 8/8... I want to so badly say that this will be amazing. The only thing is that a City Tax or even Shadow Word: Devour could make that 8/8 Immune look substantially less scary. In fact, most classes have a way of making it less scary. The idea that you have to dedicate your T10 minimum to casting this and only this makes it less impressive. The more and more I write I see issues with it. Just feels like flavor honestly.
The nerf to Ahri don't matter much, because your still not gonna able to kill her with all the cheap recall and protective spells that Ionia has, Wayfinder on the other hand got the axe I don't think that card is worth using now.
I will admit that I never a fan of poro elusive but I do think that Iceborn legacy was over-nerfed, none of the decks using that card were top tier.
Glad to see that they nerfed whitflame the thing just wouldn't die if you didn't run vengeance or minimorph.
I always kind of felt that non-odd version was better anyway, but people liked the Odd version because of the extra damage on the Hero Power. It just felt stronger.
Pet Collector could be a great meme card if Tavish Stormpike summoned beasts that cost 1 more. Summon a Tundra Rhino and then go nuts! But unfortunately he doesn't work that way...

Do we know what the achievements will be?

Not intentional, they messed up. I've updated the achievement section with a small note about it (it's now listed in their Known Issues forum thread).
Also updated Arena rotation segment and mentioned the ongoing reports about Kazakusan issues in Duels.

Is it intentional that they didn't add anything new to Demon Hunter & Rogue achievements?

There is a Core set in there, not sure if they've added it to the patch notes at a later date as an afterthought or perhaps Sinti took it for granted.

Can't win in Standard anymorr

Hit It Very Hard
I don't think Hit It Very Hard adds to the weapon attack right? Bloodsail Raider wouldn't get the +20 extra attack?
New Neutral Minion - Gear Grubber

New Neutral Minion - Onyxian Warder
If this came out in the BRM set then it would have been amazing. NOW... it gets dwarfed by other cards in the 5 slot in all classes I think
