Seems like they are going the TFT route with battlegrounds.  Boards = Arenas.  Portraits = Tacticians.  Finishers = Booms.

I mean, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  Right?  I find TFT to have a more complex skill cap though to be honest.  Don't really see myself getting super invested in cosmetics unless they start letting us "buff" minions from hand with special legendary items (aka spells).

Sorry to be the buzzkill here but for a 9 drop he is pretty lackluster. Unless you are playing a control deck games don't reach turn 9 and even then he is so easy to counter, Vengeance, Minimorph, Culling Strike, Will of Ionia and any stun card would do the trick.

He needs a spell shield not tough.

This certainly works as a wincondition but so do many other 9 mana units. Not sure if he is bettrer than other winconditions

Why do i want to play this in a Taric deck? I guess at some point i will play any buff in a Taric deck :)

This is good on Formidable units, but kind of underwhelming on anything else. And even if you get a really big Formidable unit, none of them have Overwhelm so they can just get chump blocked, except for Gorlith. Verdict: 3/5

Galio's as interesting as Gorlith, but for Vladimir fans, because the added Rally effect on allies taking damage, which Vlad enables with his own attack, makes for some insane burst potential.

Best use I can think for this card is healing your Nexus back up to 10 against a burn aggro deck, because Control decks can just stun, recall or kill this unit; The Arsenal it ain't. Verdict: 2/5

5 mana 6/6 = very beefy, and Fury keeps it relevant even after taking damage. It has some strong counters in Silence effects, Culling Strike, not being able to block Elusives, etc. which makes it less reliable. Verdict: 3/5

Yea he looks interesting.  In fact more so than Galio himself!

The buff he grants when summoned is very significant, it's a For Demacia! in the case of Formidable units and something like Bloodsworn Pledge for everyone else. Once he levels up, he threatens to quickly close out the game with free Rallies. He's very much a support champion and needs a wide board that he can support effectively, but in Demacia that's not too hard to get. Verdict: 4/5

I’m not so sure about mechanics from earlier expansions returning, I figured they did that in darkmoon because it was the only mini set that year. Barrens and Stormwind already had their mini sets, I don’t think we are getting mechanics from those expansions. I’m happy to be wrong tho, either way we don’t have to wait much longer to know for sure!

Like Mentor of the Stones, but bad. Yes he has synergy with Battering Ram and Bubble Bear but that's never going to be good. Verdict: 2/5

Obvious synergy with Formidable units aside, she's just a great unit to put into any deck. Verdict: 5/5

Counting the keyword and stats she grants an ally, she's not a bad deal. If you don't have an ally to buff, she's kind of awful though; Brightsteel Protector without an ally to buff is still a respectable 3/2 for 2 mana. When your best case scenario is "Kinda good" and your worst-case scenario is "awful", you get... Verdict: 2/5
