  • RegisKillbin's 12 Wins Boar Priest

it's difficult to believe that this deck can have at least one win. Tried twice, and had three losses both runs :/

Loatheb is extremely helpful against quest hunter. And almost nothing can save this deck versus pirate warrior. You need all your board clears immediately to even have a chance. And then it will be ruined anyway by random Mr. Smite from the Juggernaut, haha. I hate current wild...

3/3 in casial standard. But the last one wanted to lose fast. I played some Burgle Rogue and won the other two games, too.

  • Dean Ayala's Hearthstone Q&A #36 - Battlegrounds Streamer Reveals, Long-Term Plan for Tavern Brawl, Auto-squelch

Witchwood had a lot of good things but it also had one of the most useless mechanics ever in hearthstone.  You probably forgot about the 'swap' mechanic.  The ability of certain cards to swap attack and health in hand at the start of your turn was touted as a key mechanic along with rush during the expansions announcement.  This is what Dean was probably referencing.

2 out of 3, I haven't seen that in a while. I need to borrow your ladder variety.

  • Dean Ayala's Hearthstone Q&A #36 - Battlegrounds Streamer Reveals, Long-Term Plan for Tavern Brawl, Auto-squelch

I personally don't squelch and would not use an auto squelch but aren't all QOL features meant to make the game easier to use? Clicking twice every single game could get annoying, I imagine. What I find really absurd is how worked you are getting over people requesting a feature. You are literally calling people pansies and babies then you go and complain about people's sensibilities. It does not add up.

  • Dean Ayala's Hearthstone Q&A #36 - Battlegrounds Streamer Reveals, Long-Term Plan for Tavern Brawl, Auto-squelch

    Quote From FortyDust

Why would you think a streamer's habits or opinions are representative of the greater player base?

They may have a broader perspective on gameplay issues (because they play a lot more than the average player), but this is a quality-of-life issue. Enough people have asked for this with such consistent frequency that there's really no excuse for ignoring the request.

I used streamers because generally (not always) they are well adjusted individuals (at least the highly successful ones I mentioned) who are self disciplined enough to not need to auto squelch people, and only take that action if absolutely necessary.

Don't take this the wrong way, but most players if this thread is an indication are highly sensitive imbalanced people.  I mean do you really need an "auto squelch" feature?

Not to be crass but is it too hard for you to hover over the enemy hero, right click and choose squelch?  Do you get the point I'm attempting to drive home?  It's a "highly requested feature".  That doesn't make it a *good* feature to implement.  I've worked in the software industry for going on almost 15 years now.  People want every breadth of feature imaginable,  half of them are super niche and the other half already exist in some form or another, they just want something "easier" to use.

But in this particular case, this is stupidly simple.  Hover over hero, right click. Squelch.  Problem solved.  Especially if there's a plugin that already does it for you.

I'd rather the devs spend their time and energy on putting in a built in deck tracker for Hearthstone as a quality of life feature, then implementing an "auto squelch" feature to pander to the pansy nimbly-wimbly people who's sensibilities are offended by pre-loaded character characters talking to you.

Edit: And honestly I don't care if the entire OOC community downvotes and disagrees with me on this. You're allowed your opinion and I'm allowed mine.  And in my opinion this "highly requested feature" is stupidly infantile.  And if you can't handle someone emoting you, or if you can't take the effort to make 2 clicks to squelch them: then honestly there are far more problems going on in your life that won't be solved by this QoL feature making it in the game.  It's not like the person is typing that he defiled your grandfather's grave.  You're at best getting the "wow" emote spammed at you.  Squelch them and move on, jesus christ.

  • Dean Ayala's Hearthstone Q&A #36 - Battlegrounds Streamer Reveals, Long-Term Plan for Tavern Brawl, Auto-squelch

Its amazing to me how much these third party software are doing - for free to the consumer - whilst a company like blizz sit on their hands on a simple request like this.

Maybe it wasnt exciting overall, but it did bring some good cards and Rush was one of the biggest stepping stones in the future design since that point and allowed to make some more exciting cards since :)

It has been argued that the overuse of Rush is when the decline of the board-centric meta began. When immediate removal is so easy and commonplace, you look for ways to win without needing to stick a board.

  • Dean Ayala's Hearthstone Q&A #36 - Battlegrounds Streamer Reveals, Long-Term Plan for Tavern Brawl, Auto-squelch

WW wasn't just "low excitement" to me; it was actively discouraging. I hated Genn and Baku enough that I took a year-long break from HS.

I like your general idea but this is too weak by far to be worth the draw back. I'm also not sure if Mage is the right class, there's not much flavor in any direction so you might as well make it a Neutral.

    BloodMefist
My favorite card so far. Very cool!

    Wailor
Interesting flavor though I have to admit I'm not a big fan of the pizza art piece. You managed to find a very fitting effect for it and the foreshadowing of Honorable Kill is a really nice addition that you should definitely mention in your description box. I'd go with the rare version that increases the cost of one card.

    R
Plus 1 point for creativity since you are the only one in this thread who went down the Hero Power road. Other than that, judging the balance is pretty hard since there's a delay, but it lacks Baku's deck building restriction. I tend to vote OP though.

    BasilAnguis
This is genius and at the brink of being too complicated at the same time. I can guarantee 4 stars from me but will have to think some more about adding the fifth as well. Great work! (The name is a bit bulky as well)

    Demonxz95
The Golem would have been fine a few years ago but doesn't make the cut for me these days. Clock Tower Guard is okay but too niche to be really interesting. The Hunter card has a lot of combo potential without necessarily encouraging OTK builds too much. I definitely like that one the most out of the three.

  • The Scariest Mobalytics Decks

if people actually stop playing ionia just because God-Willow Seedling is less op now and Kinkou Wayfinder is less abusive then that's clearly an overreaction/mistake

Ionia got great new cards if people don't find ways to use them then that's on them

could it be that the actual reason why people stoped playing ionia decks is that streamers haven't come up with new decks to copy paste and/or people just want to take their chance to play old decks before new decks roll around?

Like if your deck was pushed into tier 2-3 by the decks that now got nerfed and now you got a realistic chance to do your thing then you would take this chance wouldn't you?

  • Dean Ayala's Hearthstone Q&A #36 - Battlegrounds Streamer Reveals, Long-Term Plan for Tavern Brawl, Auto-squelch

If it weren't for HS Tracker's auto-squelch plugin, I probably would have left Hearthstone many years ago. Can't play without it.

  • The Final Nozdormu Day of 2021 in the Hearthstone Tavern - Speedy Dragon Joins Our Decks to Fight for Honor

Played the (filthy, disgusting) Facedormu Hunter deck. Never procced Noz in any game, won once, and did not have fun :/ I feel dirty just touching an Aggro deck; yuck.

I will say that using Aimed Shot on my own face to bypass Cloak of Shadows for lethal was the high moment, but the rest was dumb.

  • The Final Nozdormu Day of 2021 in the Hearthstone Tavern - Speedy Dragon Joins Our Decks to Fight for Honor

Great games to end the year. All played in ranked standard.

Playing N'Zoth, God of the Deep Commencement Warrior with Noz.

1st Game Vs Questline Priest w/ Nozdormu. I got to them too fast with Clockwork Giant. Put up a great fight but had to use alot of removal early as I cheated them out. Finished off with Troll Centurion honorable kill.

2nd Game Vs Hand Lock. Fast Giant again set them off balance. By the time they had Tickatus corrupted they were dead.

3rd Game vs Elemental Shaman with a Nozdormu. I had a bad starting hand and they were very aggressive. Got me down to 1hp despite my clearing as much as possible. Lucky Commencement into Mo'arg Forgefiend almost wasn't even. Heavy Plate andLokholar the Ice Lord won me the game.

2 out of 3 games with Nozdormu the Eternal in ranked. So fun!  Forgot it even was the 15th, thanks for the reminder.

  • Dean Ayala's Hearthstone Q&A #36 - Battlegrounds Streamer Reveals, Long-Term Plan for Tavern Brawl, Auto-squelch

I think Dean was talking about how weak Witchwood's theme was overall. It was originally going to be a murder mystery set that took place on a train and all the promotional images reflected that. The issue was that the actual set did not so there was this weird disconnected between the promotional theme and the vibes given from the cards. This was also during a time when Dungeon runs were still new and did not contain a lot of the story. I also believe Blizzard startedto invest less in Hearthstone during this time as it was the first set in a while that did not come with a comic book (which could have made the murder mystery part make sense).

  • The Scariest Mobalytics Decks

If you look at my most recent meta stats Ionia is completely absent from what's being played post hotfix nerfs.

I wish it wasn't Ionia is super easy to play and tech against.

  • Cloneball!

They should "randomly" make it that Nozdormu is in every deck for Nozdormu Day

  • Dean Ayala's Hearthstone Q&A #36 - Battlegrounds Streamer Reveals, Long-Term Plan for Tavern Brawl, Auto-squelch

I don't care what streamers request. This feature for me would be the single most important QoL feature they could implement and I know I'm not the only one. Half of the comments under this article are about auto-squelch while that's only a fraction of the article. This is what people want.

  • Brand New Meta Stats - Post Hotfix

    https://lor.mobalytics.gg/stats/decks

Honestly, I consider everything about these new stats to be absolutely terrifying.

All the decks are extremely strong and versatile and their winrates have gone through the roof.

    1. Dragons already called that one plus 55%

    2. Lisandra plus 55%

    3. Midrange plunder plus 55%

    4. Pantheon plus 55%

I guess ezreal was keeping these decks in cheque and now that he's gone they are absolutely dominating

So no longer do you need to tech against aggro and combo now it's how the hell do you deal with all these midrange powerhouses?

Honestly, I don't know it's very possible something like a Lee Sin combo deck will ultimately be the tournament answer, but that lineup is scary and difficult to play against.

Maybe a new king of aggro will emerge and start pressuring from the other end as well, and that's usually when midrange starts to take a hit, but right now it's open season.
