Another hunter secret that can potentially break 10 mana cards so basically one built to counter mage if big spells ever make meta. Beside that, it's nice disruption tool but I wouldn't justify running this without more secret oriented deck with cards revealed so it all depends on their combo. If it's ok, it will be played.
Control warrior usually doesn't play any minion before turn 3 anyway but even in late game this card can board lock the opponent and buy more time. We still have Bulwark available so CTRL warrior might have chance to play longer games again.
This card feels... correct. Not good, not bad, just some value for the cost but no shiny impact on the board. If beast druid will be a thing then yeah, maybe but depends on a style for the deck. I wish questline could run it but with no attack synergy feral roleplaying has close to 0 sense.
It looks promising, the ability to stall the game a bit - includes face freeze - for basically free should be good enough to find spot somewhere. I might dust off my golden Jaina DK for a spin.
This is just nuts and will continue to be when new choose one spells get printed out. Blizzard best remember that. It's more value in standard atm with Nourish and it specifically says card which means this applies to minions and Malfurion the Pestilent in wild too.
Well it's a good board buff for even a token druid that runs a few beasts. It's even better than Blessing of the Ancients and looks like blizzard is really trying to push this midrange beast archetype. We might get there this expansion. It'll definitely be tested out
I don't know why Blizzard can't pull something good for once and make something small on sale for Hearthstone with big discount. For all we know, throwing lets say a $5 for 25 packs for a one time purchase can be a very good gesture of showing love to your base players.
But after years of nothing, I hate to say it won't happen anyway.
EDIT. I'm trying to stop saying it, but heck, I'll say it anyway. Blizzard is still Greedy.
Stats aren't premium so there's that. The mana cheat for hunter seems awkward, but guess that's the only way to play big stuff in this game now. It has potential if the big beast stuff works out in standard, but it'll probably end up being used in a wild meme OTK King Krush deck instead.
Well, this card makes Frozen Buckler much better now. You'd ideally want to play this board clear when you're behind or have no minions on board, which as control warrior, seems likely to happen. Not sure why you wouldn't pick Brawl instead though, unless you only have 2 mana to play the Frozen Buckler then this.
At first I was like: "Holy shit! This card is busted against aggro! 5 Stars!"
Think I was a bit too optimistic there, but the card is still great and there's still self damage synergies we can use. I see this card more in control warrior though, where you might not have a lot of small minions, but a few big ones, so the 1 damage to your minions shouldn't be too much of a downside. It's still good though, a Whirlwind each turn for 3 turns is nothing to scoff at.
Probably one of the worse Honorable Kill effects, seeing as it's a recycled one. Warrior has enough weapon tutor in standard right now, this is also 4 mana and we not sure if the mechanic will be easily achieved or not.
Nice card draw with Scrapsmith but Glory Chaser itself technically has taunt . If the stats were reversed and it was a 3/4, then it would be great, but at 3 health, there's many ways this can be kills with spells, bypassing all the taunts you just played. It's still a card draw engine, which will be good if control/frost/armor warrior takes off.
So basically you need weapon destruction or The Immovable Object gets out of hand...well defensively. Cariel's HP is not bad either, but the weapon is what makes the hero card insane. Also bare in mind, Suckerhook could transform your 6 mana weapon into The Immovable Object as Shaman, so nice buff to that card
Do shaman even have a 6 mana weapon or are we talking about a situation where suckerhook evolves multiple times without you using all the charges on a weapon? I think Cariel is an excellent card, and the weapon is great defensively though
Oh no, I was incorrect about the Suckerhook interaction, seeing as The Immovable Object is not a collectable card by itself. Thought evolve effects would evolve into anything, but past experiences say no.
Thanks for the video. It helped explain things even more. I found it amusing that it boils down to the adage: "It's not a problem, until it is (and affects me)"
But such a well put video that bleeding edge efficiency and stockpiles can only go so far to impress shareholders, and that America has mimicked the original "well tuned machine" that was Toyota, but not in the right ways.
Oh yeah, the silicon problems have been mental over the past couple of years. Without a doubt though it is a perfect storm that has caused all the problems. It was even more fascinating when the car problems, yes actual cars, ended up having supply chain issues.
The biggest issue from everyone ends up being folks weren't thinking long-term with their production cycles (in fairness it does cost money to hold raw material). It'll be interesting to see if any companies start hoarding stuff once productions return to capacity to try and avoid future similar problems.
Wendover did a good video talking about a bunch of the shortages that popped up the past couple of years.
As far as mods go though, I feel that so much.
Its one of the reasons why I try to play games without mods at all, even if that does reduce the overall play time. Mods are awesome to extend the life of some games but if you're really into it and something ends up breaking in a patch, you're usually outta luck.
Oh yes, all those types of games are harsh on hardware. That's one of my favourite bits of Factorio because the team made their own engine because nothing else would compare. Their Friday Facts blog posts have been some of the most fun insights into their technical problems with a game in the genre. It has definitely made me see certain things in a different light when it comes to game dev issues (like how they optimized belts back in FF 176).
Oxygen Not Included has been on the "buy this" list for a while now. Maybe I should finally do it!
Guys who dont like the sudden appearance of a boss when they're chasing after a time-limited goal? I mean, WotC was a great expansion, but I downloaded that mod that terminated the time limits because the number of times I failed a mission because one of the chosen decided to appear out of nowhere. And some of the chosen upgrades really takes the cake of being annoying as hell: the teleport when hit is a definite highlight.

Beside that, it's nice disruption tool but I wouldn't justify running this without more secret oriented deck with cards revealed so it all depends on their combo. If it's ok, it will be played.
New Warrior Minion - Scrapsmith
At least it doesn't require running whole AV to the base to return those scraps...
New Neutral Minion - Sneaky Scout
It does have a flavour to be SI one, yes. It might be that Blizz will add more SI's in Core Set next year though
New Neutral Minion - Corporal
Another card that will totally depend on usefulnness of HK. It's actually a nice WoW joke. You kill this and you get HK:Corporal pop up.
New Druid Minion - Clawfury Adept
It does feel great for druid deck that cares for beast synergies. If a deck like this will be in play 2 mana body is not bad in this case.
New Warrior Spell - Snowed In
Control warrior usually doesn't play any minion before turn 3 anyway but even in late game this card can board lock the opponent and buy more time. We still have Bulwark available so CTRL warrior might have chance to play longer games again.

New Mage Minion - Amplified Snowflurry
It looks promising, the ability to stall the game a bit - includes face freeze - for basically free should be good enough to find spot somewhere. I might dust off my golden Jaina DK for a spin.

I do not think anyone was under a different impression?

New Paladin Hero - Lightforged Cariel
I mean mostly...with the exception of quest paladins if they are a thing.

Omnotron Defense System
Can't believe this is 500 times more contagious than the Delta Variant!
Iceblood Tower
it would say “a different” spell if they had to have unique names. Could be pretty cool
