Defile on a body, thats INSANE. Wow and its neutral too! easy 5 star card. it's basicly a neutral mini-Lord Godfrey. Defile and Lord Godfrey still see play to this day because of this amazing effect, so i'm 100% sure Spammy Arcanist will see plenty of play in any control deck in standard. In wild i'm sure plenty of reno decks will include Spammy Arcanist as well!  The only downside is that it costs 5 mana, but i feel like thats acceptable considering Spammy Arcanist just has such a powerful effect. 5 mana destroy the board 90% of the time is very good, and you get a body as well.

Personally i hoped for a Defile reprint or it being added in next years core set, so i'm really happy to see Spammy Arcanist!

Unfortunately for this card, even a 5 mana 8/8 windfury that require you to have less than half your health gone may not reach far enough to swing the board for you. In most cases whenever you drop this low, you're either going to die the following turn, or you need to clear board to even stand a chance at survival, and this card having no taunt will not prevent your face from getting dead.

As a tempo option, its only fitting place is in a Vanndar deck, or zoolock, where half health is not impossible by turn 5.

If only this had lifesteal instead of windfury. Oh well, we can all dream cant we?

Its Frost Nova that also kills something, so is there any reason to say that this wouldn't see any play?

The only downside this posses is that it needs a wounded target to even work. So in a control game you need at least two cards, or somehow contrive a minion to get hurt so you can stall for a turn.

Im actually more pissed that its yet more freeze effects. But admitably, the conditions of the card balance it somewhat.

If it works, it'll make a massive minion that your opponent likely needs a response or they die.

But unfortunately, it'll likely work less than 50% of the time, and if it ever becomes meta it'll get even worse as everyone will play around this until the end of time.

The most significant part of this card is its cost. At 5, its kinda expensive considering that it can be played around.

Maybe with 3/4 body board swing is enough to overturn the massive cost that comes with this clear option. Still, we've seen how powerful Defile and Lord Godfrey was, there's no reason to doubt that this will fit into some decks somehow someway.

This is just insane as a board clear options. At least it cost 5, or otherwise this would literally be in every deck bar aggro.

Whether you call it Defile, or just smaller Lord Godfrey, the fact remains that players now to play around this tempo swinging option. The five mana cost is the only stumbling block here, but for good cards it might still be acceptable, as long as the meta is conducive to it.

But I can't say I care for this one. Too awkward, too slow. The beauty of defile was its two mana cost. Got no chance. Even an avoid at all costs in Arena cuz it's like a shittier Dragonmaw Scorcher.

Get lucky on 5 and cause a perfect chain reaction?  I'm not buying it!

Probably because it's defensive card that fits both into the control warrior playstile, aswell as into expansions theme of being in a snowy area.

Quest Warrior, Deathrattle DH, Face Hunter, Quest Rogue, Aggro Druid, Libram Paladin, Secret Paladin, Libram and Secret Paladin, Shadow Priest, Zoolock and Elemental Shaman just don't exist then, I suppose?

Ok, spell dmg doesn't affect this, but looks like a strong neutral board clear, specially against aggro druid.

Blizz will push tokens decks for sure and prints that card as tech against that archetype.

This in a Frost Lich Jaina deck is almost a Reno... not sure of the viability right now of this deck but at least seems fun to play with adding more surviability to a deck that was a huge beast in Control.

At first glance this seems way to slow - but if the meta will shift to a slower/Control-ish one this could be bonkers. 

Sureley it does not happen often but sometimes the opponent has one big thing on the board and you can eat it with this and become a new threat! 

I kinda like it and with stuff like ramp druid this can come out pretty soon too. 

Does anyone know about the reward track of this expansion? 

Interesting ... and for the memes i will try to play this with the 20 Mana Druid Hero after i reached 20 Mana ;)

Defenitely interesting but if this does not get some support with other new cards this will see no play whatsoever. 

Looks decent i guess but right now i kinda see this in more zoo-ish style decks. Could be good.

Great for control decks if their behind. Lokholar, the Ice Lord is great when your behind and can be used as a pretty good board clear. And if the meta slows down perhaps you can remove 2 semi-big minions with him. Of course the problem remains that you have to basicly wait until your >=15 health which is unfortunate. But even at 10 mana i guess its playable?.... if you live that long, but if you don't Lokholar will cost 5 mana and potentially allow you to survive at least 1 more turn. 

But one thing is for certain, Lokholar, the Ice Lord is a must-include in BIG decks such as BIG Warrior. Cheating it out is easy for such decks, and with Vanndar Stormpikes support it might potentially be game winning.
