Here's my two cents, my take on Stormwind Quest Warrior. I hope it will by somewhat viable (not necessarily in this iteration, I am hopeless deckbuilder :D ).
Its likely better to complete them after the expansion has launched. Its not so much about getting a head start on the reward track, its largely because the reward track gifts out legendary cards, which often enough you'll get the first one fairly easily within the week.
Getting that legendary early means you'll be more likely to make a better choice when deciding what to craft after the first few days.
I personally feel Defend the Dwarven District is really overrated, it will probably be a good tier 2/3 deck until it gets more support from the miniset. Same with Battleground Battlemaster, because seriously, when has Windfury ever worked out (except the Doomhammer)
I think people are really sleeping on the Paladin quest as well as the handbuff variants of it. They just need some tweaks like a bit more draw and proactive stuff like Broomsticks to really pop off.
Corpsetaker in Even paladin was a tier 1 deck and used as a crutch to close out game against control decks early on. But yeah, generally windfury not great in standard.
Aw, I would have been interested in Gauntlet format. But the fact it's no longer a "legit" format doesn't prevent me from doing my own version in constructed. I just think I'll allow myself to apply it only to regular cards, not champions, as there is no much point playing them since champions are designed to be played, most of the time, as 3 copies, or at worst, 2.
What's pretty obvious is that there will be 3 Zoe. I mean the champion might be hella hard to level up, but she's litterally made for such a meme. The second champion will probably be the most versatile one from a region I believe have enough self serving/versatile cards (so far leaning to Demacia which cards are kinda easy to use, not sure)
There is no Singleton Gauntlet anymore. They completely eliminated it at least three months ago. It's been entirely replaced by the Best-of-three format that is basically the same as the tournament format, and it serves as a secondary way to qualify for the tournaments that happen every 2 months.
As for memes, off the top of my head I would say: Legion Marauders (with Ashe and LeBlanc) is one option. Mono-LeBlanc Yetis is another option.
For RNG (if you're a fan of control) you could do a Howling Abyss deck with basically all board wipes and removals, plus The Howling Abyss. Then have fun outvaluing every other deck in the game with level 2 champions for days.
Looks like we have another tie in just the three times the monthlies have been in effect. When this occurs, the winner is decided by the first to solve a riddle when all who are tied are able.
*** Having a little trouble getting this to display as I'd like on my phone. Namely having the table display without needing to scroll. Any help appreciated ***
Welcome to the modern thread of The Card Treasure Hunt. This is a game where you try to guess which Hearthstone card fits the current riddle. When it is solved the winner then comes up with the next one. Feel free to employ poetry, simple questions, modified song lyrics, or anything else your imagination desires.
If you have seen this thread and have always wanted to play I invite you to try- it's a fun distraction to check your phone and look the riddle over. Think it through while you're doing something boring like work or waiting in line : D
There are not many rules aside from not making too many guesses at a time (two at a time is the polite limit). Asking questions to the riddle is advisable if stumped. If it is your turn to make a riddle it is asked that you check in at least a couple times a day to verify guesses; if you are not able to you are allowed to concede the next riddle to the public.
Besides the leader board below, I also compile the winners of every month. Think of it as Standard for the game. Stick around and try to be the winner for the month!
Very appropriately, the reigning champion of the leader board, anchorm4n will start us off! Special thanks to R and madcat for helping tally and make it simple to transfer the leader board as well as to DestroyerR for resurrecting such an enjoyable game at OoC.
All the theorycraft streamers I watched came to the same conclusion: this deck is weak to aggro, but excellent against any other deck. For that reason, I expect to see it A LOT in tournaments where you can weed out your bad matchups. Season 2 of 2021 Grandmasters is in only 10 days -- I assume we'll see a fairly refined version of the deck at that time.
Here's my entry. I have a special love for cheap Token Druid decks, because that was the source of my first major climb up the ladder when I was still new and didn't have many legendaries. Hopefully this option is available for other new players in the upcoming meta!
While I did not say this in the article, I completely agree with that take. For aggro matchups, the quest is just too risky to try and rush, but against a slower control deck, you can just go to town on yourself since there's not much they can do against the quest, especially if you finish the last step and play Tamsin in the same turn.
My take on the quest is that it acts in a similar fashion to Tickatus, acting as a win condition in control mirrors, and allowing the deck to run more healing and removal for other matchups.
Notably, Backfire, Backfire, Tap is 35 damage if your deck is empty, so if control runs rampant then QuestLock can easily go over the top while not being weak to Mutanus

Hunter quest is never really going to be tier 1 simply because long games and hunter just never do well, ever. The only hope for it is that the meta is really slow enough, so it can go full value without getting destroyed midgame.
Battleground Battlemaster is a 5/5 for 5 that's a massive soft taunt and instantly makes any minion game winners. You can just slot in 1 in stealth rogue, and outside of a few decks its really not easy getting rid of minions like Burrowing Scorpid, which can deal 10 damage on turn 5 if left alive, leaving a 5/2 and 5/5 on board. We'll just have to see how the meta forms, but I still think its a relevant inclusion into aggro decks.
Is anyone really sleeping on handbuff paladin? Alliance Bannerman itself is already the best card of the set. Its likely going to be tier 1 on the first few weeks in my opinion.

Hi guys,
Planning to buy the tavern pass and buying around 60 packs for gold.
Now I‘m thinking about todays weekly quests:
- finish them before go live to benefit of the current xp bonus from barrens tavern pass (and then buy more packs for gold)
- finish them after go live so I get early progress on stormwind tavern pass
Is there a difference or is it just get more gold today vs more gold later (because of the faster progress in stormwind)?
Best,
Bathala

The deck is very simple to play, you need to complete the mission as quickly as possible.
But after completing the first part you can control the table and continue to damage the opponent.

The paladin quest will not likely be a Meta deck, but it is one of the decks I want to first try out.
