I don't think it's very good, but this is another control killer card for sure. You basically get a free win against any non-proactive decks, much like Tickatus Warlock destroys those kinds of decks. Thankfully there's C'Thun, the Shattered as a possible win condition for other control decks.
This card is just insane, even more so considering that you can reduce its cost. While its going to be fairly inconsistent, at its best it will be 1 mana heal for 8, spawn a 5/8, a random 7 drop, or plainly draw a card (either your highest cost or a minion along with +3+3). Hell, it could even just silence the whole board.
Its hard to understand why team5 decided to make this card 1 mana when they know perfectly well that it'll be in wandmaker's pool. So even if this card for some reason doesn't make the cut, you can still easily get it from Wandmaker.
Even if you decide to play it without the value, its still going to add a deathrattle card to your hand. And for 1 mana, which can be reduced to 0 fairly easily, that's already doing work.
Let's just look at the filtered data before we make conclusions. Here is the most recent meta data for plat+, thanks to Kozmic. Viego/Nasus is the most played deck in the meta at 9% playrate. Its winrate is a whopping 50%.
The other two Viego decks that make the top 10 most played decks only have 2-3% of the meta each. Viego Plaza has a 44% winrate and Viego dragons has a 42% winrate.
Maybe he feels unfair when you're losing to him, but I don't think those numbers require any kind of response presently.
The card is not bad by the way and I'm amazed just how Discover effects continue to be powercrepped to a moment where you get to see I Know a Guy but with over 1 Mana worth of free stuff on top of it
This card is strange. On one hand, the buffing component makes Kodo Mount a win more card. On the other, it's a +4/+2 Rush, meaning Kodo Mount is more suitably used as a comeback option. I'm guessing the rather modest statline Kodo Mount gives is mainly because of Solar Eclipse, but still, the seemingly anti-synergy this card has with itself makes it less reliable as a removal option.
Eh...with the current pool of cards I don't think this is good enough to be used if I'm honest. I just don't think its consistent enough given the massive amount of mediocre deathrattle cards.

yeah but it is slightly different... The Marsh Queen only counts minions that costed 1 when they were played whether their original cost is 0 or 2 didn't matter
Also wording same as Hunter Quest from Un'Goro and for that one 1 cost must be actual 1 cost, if you discount them to 0 they won't count for quest anymore
Voting comes in two stages: regular voting and finalist voting. Lundy was #1 in the regular voting (where all cards are available to cast votes on), but came in second in the finalist voting (where, usually, only the top 8 are available and it becomes more about specifically which card you want to win). A lot of the time, the person who is #1 in the first stage seems to stay that way and come out on top overall; occasionally that does not happen. Losing despite being "in first" has happened to me quite a bit, so I should know lol

Is Viego Too Universally Good?
For sure I had said before that tempo decks are ruling the meta right now.
Like if thresh Nasus is the best "shadow" deck with an atrocity win con it only hits 53% tops
If you want to win games, play a bunch of stuff, and if you can't do that spam burst spells.
Thats kind of the sad state of things at the moment
