This card is definitely playable, but whether or not anyone actually plays it is a different issue. The only deck I could envision this being utilized in is a midrange deck with N'zoth, which may be a thing, but probably not. Maybe some kind of buff priest? But that also doesn't feel very realistic.
It isn't a bad card, but I don't expect it to be played.
I wasn't all that impressed with this card at first, but I just realized that this card is only 1 mana, so easy to slot into a turn and the effect can potentially be huge. Still think this card too situational, but I'm not writing it off completely.
Tradeable first draws you the top card of your deck, then shuffles the tradeable card into your deck randomly. Tradeable doesn't help you draw through your deck faster, it just lets you opt to draw a different card instead.
My question for Tradeable is whether or not they can only be traded once, or if the keyword goes away after it's first use. I would assume it would only work once, but some confirmation would be nice.
I love that this card exists. I don't play priest, but it is great to see more support for shadow priest and less support for bs control priest. I always love cards that provoke interesting deck building and even if this doesn't turn out to be very powerful, I'm just glad it exists to give priest players something fun to mess around with.
Also almost this exact card was made for the WCDC last week which is pretty funny.
It's to much work - as of now. Maybe with some self-copying minions, a more efficient hand refill than First Day of School, and with lots and lots of optimizing this could become barely playable?
While fire could prove to be a problem, there are just enough great spells in wild, that any deck that likes to play fast and a lot of spells (Flamewalker Mage) could probably run this.
I tested the interaction with Maiev Shadowsong myself: it doesn't work - if you put Flightmaster Dungar back to sleep, he'll wake up with no other bonus effects.
It’s riot I don’t know why I expected anything different. I need a different job with less down time and hopefully less people trying to kill me. Or at least consequences for people trying to kill me so I can stop playing mobile games.
Echo seems about right. Kill wave one. Revived them with rally. Killed wave two. Revived them with rally. Didn’t have a response for wave three. Denial and Nopify have just gained a metric fuckton of value. I was looking forward to being able to play a bunch of different decks. Looks like I’ll need SI or Ionia in one of my slots.
What are you trying to say? That Ekko is too strong? Well I hate to disappoint you but the general opinion is that he cool but rather weak. The statics also seem to point at that direction since he is currently sitting at a 43% win rate. See for yourself :
This is not the first time you had mad this knee jerk type of reaction, you also did it when Shurima just got released saying that the region was too OP, then it turned out that Shurima was pretty lackluster :
Honestly, I think Standard has too much card draw already so I'm not overjoyed to see a set mechanic that is pseudo-card draw. It feels like the arrival of DH heralded an age where every class gets cheap, efficient card draw, because otherwise they just fall behind like shaman did until the last mini-set. That's done a lot towards giving aggro far more fuel than I think it should have (I miss being able to run them out of resources...). Hopefully the tradeable cards are mostly tech options that don't really benefit aggro.
Its arguably less powerful for aggro since it'll likely just cycle a midrange card for a 1-2 drop. After reviewing the currently available tradeable cards, my guess is that team5 have purposefully designed the tradeable keyword to mostly situational, midrange cards that outside of the tradeable option would only be considered as merely decent cards on their own. And besides which, the tradeable option merely replaces itself with another card, so its not really adding to tempo or adding cards into your hand like how Loot Hoarder or Voracious Reader would.
I would say that its more beneficial to midrange decks, and presents control decks with additional options rather than hp do nothing on their early turns.
Its just one of those things that only a dev can explain since its not at all intuitive. Can we actually draw the same card we 'traded' out, or does the draw interaction work first before the card is shuffled back? But on guesswork, it'll make more sense if its randomly placed into your deck. If its set at the bottom of your deck the keyword would be incredibly busted, since its essentially thinning your deck at a 1 mana cost.
I've not seen any clarification, no, but I am assuming tradeable cards get shuffled in to a random position. Otherwise they are straight 1 mana draw 1 (with useful 'secondary' uses) for combo decks, which is dangerous to make lots of. If they go somewhere random, then sooner or later you'll draw them again at which point they haven't really sped up how quickly you've gone through the deck. That description was a bit simplistic since they do speed up finding other cards, but not as quickly as normal card draw.

I don't really understand why we would start a meta discussion on day 3 of the expansion where several strategies weren't tested yet. There was simply not enough time yet for a meta to come up.
I would guess that we see a meta emerging in 1 - 2 weeks and that it will be midrangeish. But that is pure speculation.
The only thing I noticed is that targon's popularity went down ...
Which is good given that that means less Hush to stop my RivenVi otk setups
I am sorry but I don't even understand what you are trying to tell us.
Was the rant about chronobreak destroying your control setup (which is it's purpose)?
Was it about the game in general?
You really should consider rewriting the post in a way people can read it and in a way it doesn't sound like you just want to let off steam from real life if you want this comment to be taken seriously
While I love the design, this is incredibly difficult to pull off. As others have already mentioned, Warlock already has trouble staying alive, so unless the meta slows down significantly or this questline sees major support, I don't see this being viable since it will only win against reactive control decks. I'd love to play this, though.
The 3 top decks are turbo thralls, LeBlanc sivir, and pirate aggro.
So typically when we see decks with high winrates like these but relatively low play rates.
The meta is very healthy.
While these decks might statistically be doing well right now, people aren't really playing them in any number to be concerned of.
It also means nobody has attempted to counter these decks yet, meaning what we are really seeing is early climbers blitzing ladder before people can adjust
Other good news signs, Azir Irelia is down to a 50/50 winrate which sounds right given its supposed to be a "combo" deck.
Honestly, still feeling very optimistic about things overall.
Without a dev clarifying there is no way to know. HS tries its best to be intuitive, so I would assume it gets shuffled randomly into your deck. It is also worth noting that Sphere of Sapience specifies that the card gets shuffled to the bottom of your deck so I would assume that any other mechanic that shuffles a card to the bottom of your deck would specify that it does that.
I can't remember when it was, but awhile back I think I remember hearing or reading somewhere how the way they write text changed over time from being super specific to cutting text for things that should seem more obvious and intuitive based on the mechanics. So yes, since it doesn't specify it's likely a shuffle effect. But was just curious if anyone had seen or heard a specific clarification.

I really want to see how the opening animation looks. My favorite is still the little scarab spreading its wings on the Uldum packs. Most recent packs have had a more generic “explode open” effect that wasn’t nearly as fun - Plus they keep using purple and gold splashes when they open, which is really misleading because it makes me think I’m getting an Epic or Legendary.
The lion on a seal could make for a really cool animation. (Even watching the ropes untie would be a fun change of pace.)

Post Expansion Meta
Yeah its interesting how dependent most targon players were on snake.
Lulu into snake, the fangs into snake.
So when it got turned into a 1/1 targon players just noped out of the region.
I think thats bit of an over reaction. It was never meant to be a tempo region in the first place.
Tradeable question

Tradeable question
Celestalon confirmed on twitter that the deck is shuffled after the trade.

New Priest Spell - Elekk Mount
Great stats for the cost - with the spell focused cards of Forged in the Barrens and it's miniset it fits right in. Taunt makes it playable.
New Paladin Weapon - Prismatic Jewel Kit
It's to much work - as of now. Maybe with some self-copying minions, a more efficient hand refill than First Day of School, and with lots and lots of optimizing this could become barely playable?
New Mage Spell - Fire Sale
The name is really fitting for a tradeable card, I wonder how many others will explicitly mention commerce.
New Mage Spell - Sorcerer's Gambit
Looks like a wild card. There is more than enough spell generation there, and plenty of great spells of each relevant school:
Fire: Flame Ward, Fireball, Combustion
Arcane: Incanter's Flow, Counterspell, Ancient Mysteries, Conjure Mana Biscuit
Frost: Ice Block, Frostbolt, Ray of Frost
While fire could prove to be a problem, there are just enough great spells in wild, that any deck that likes to play fast and a lot of spells (Flamewalker Mage) could probably run this.
Journey to Stormwind - Flightmaster Dungar First Impressions and Decks
I tested the interaction with Maiev Shadowsong myself: it doesn't work - if you put Flightmaster Dungar back to sleep, he'll wake up with no other bonus effects.
Blightborn Tamsin
Power creeping Hunter and their hero power, love it
Fuck play testing

My advice would be to calm down and wait a week or two for to settle before making this type of post.
New Hunter Spell - Ramming Mount
Also pairs quite will with Trueaim Crescent, and big minions that you want to have attack as often as possible: Moonfang, Lake Thresher,Teacher's Pet, Trampling Rhino. I could imagine a midrange deck with some cheap spells, and a Guardian Animals + Ramming Mount package.
