Why not? Before barrens expansion I had 73% winrate Odd paladin with over 300 games played. When I hit D5, I switched to meme decks because climbing to legend even with such a high winrate was still frustrating and not worth it. So I played off-meta decks with much lower winrate but more fun element.
It wont be a tiring grind if you had 70% winrate. Unless of course you don't actually have a 70% winrate, then it would be a tiring grind. Which is it?
I played for the last 3 days to diamond 5 and then just played a suboptimal deck for the rank 3 spell and sigil achievement. I don't bother to get to legend, It's always just a tiring grind, even with a good deck
@Demonxz95 @linkblade91 Thanks for the indepth feedback, and I take your point. I'm left in a bit of a sticky situation then. Changing it to something like "Battlecry:Destroy a minion." also gets rid of the interesting aspect of the design (Choosing when to prioritise removal vs. pressure), and also doesnt fit on two lines without text-size changes. I do have a backup card if you think that aspect of the design is unsalvagable (for this prompt at least):
Possibly needs to go to 3 mana - comparing to Holy Light / Healing Touch. But still would require deck building restrictions to get it to be consistently better than those.
You can also buy the whole set for 2000 gold. But chances are that most of them won't be meta. In that case you can just craft the few rares and maybe the one legendary that sees play if you only want to be competetive.
Yes, the duo cannot get more points this week which will leave them to bottom 4 regardless of other results. AyRoK needs a big performance for sure, but he could still mathematically get to safety (although is likely to need help from other players with that). For reference, the current (after Thursday's matches) cut-off is 8 points, with Bunny in risk of relegation by tiebreakers.
I can add a small, updated relegation table here in the comments should you find that helpful.
I'm a bit hestitant to admit it, but I'm a filthy netdecker (and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one). Even if I'm repeating myself, outof.cards is the most awesome Hearthstone page on the web for me. Still, there are two things that are closely related to each other which I have to look for on other pages. So here are my suggestions how you could at least partially avoid that if you wanted to:
1) Top decks
Not sure how the algorythms work, but right now the "hot" and the "top" decks are showing almost the same results. You have that cooperation with HSReplay running, so why not use it some more? I suggest keeping the "hot" section as it is (I guess it's based on views, comments and upvotes?) and displaying the lists with the highest win rates from HSReplay in "top", updated daily at midnight or some such. Sometimes people are just looking for the best decks to grind the ladder with and right now, it's quite difficult to find them if there doesn't happen to be a post like this on the frontpage. It goes without saying that keeping the filters as they are would be vital if that is possible.
2) Meta Reports
This might be a little insolent, but I'd really appreciate it if there was a section where you point us to meta reports. Everybody has their favorites but I think we can agree about the top 3 or something. You could either post a short news article whenever a new one comes out or silently update a site where they are all displayed with a link to their respective external site. I know this would be pretty much advertizing third party content but since OOC understandably can't provide such reports themselves, why not make things for users a bit easier? While we're at it, a collection of podcasts would be pretty awesome, too.
I hope you don't get these ideas the wrong way. It's just that OOC is my platform of choice for everything social about Hearthstone right now, but if I want to be competitive, I have to look elsewhere most of the time. Maybe you are fine with that, but if you want to cater to a bigger audience, the two points above might be places to start.
I have already mentioned before about reducing the text size too much on the second version (in which, "Weapon" also should not be capitalized), which is why prompts like this are usually avoided in the first place.
That said, I do also have a problem with the first version which is that Discovering a card based on being Rare doesn't really narrow the pool in a meaningful way. While you may know what cards you'll be able to get and which ones you can't, there isn't really anything you can try to grab from the pool. I also don't like putting "from the past" on a Common or Rare card. Perhaps we might see it on an Epic one day, but as a Common or Rare, it very much takes away from the spectacle of Toki, Time Tinker.
And one last note, but that is definitely not a Kobold. It looks more like a humanoid raptor person.
On the text size: yeah probably. I don't have much time to tinker with it and the font size is not that bad so i just left it as is.
First version wasn't meant for you to get any specific card, just get a generally low or medium value card with a bit of flair.
Toki is such a bad card that i highly doubt anyone cares about her losing her spectacle. Also we had a lot of cases of legendaries being overtaken by commons and rares (Princess HuhuranPlay DeadTerrorscale Stalker)
This may be just personal taste but that is a kobold. Kobolds are reptilian. Just type kobold in google images and see what pops up. Hearthstone and Wow have weird ugly ass gremlins and they call them kobolds but in every other fantasy universe they are reptilian. And that is one of the closes images i found to a wow kobold (miner, candle helmet and all) without it looking like a hairless deformed rat whose snout got stung by a bee and swollen.

Failing the jump was my favourite part. And because my party laughed at me, I pulled a few mobs on my way back to them.

No packs if you already got two during Week 2 or later. Playoffs begin next week, and then there will be two new packs for everyone to grab.

I dont think they will use keywords from Year of the Phoenix. However, I liked the mash-up of keywords in the Darkmoon Mini-set

Thanks. Are Zhym and Swidz's relegation confirmed? I mean, isn't Ayrok technically only 1 point below Zhym and 2 points below Swidz?
If Ayrok loses to Frenetic, then he'll have only 6 points right?
