I think they are trying to target people who don't like to buy preorders but rather spent small amounts of money over time and don't already have a complete collection.
If I wasn't banking almost 70k dust I might have been interested because the Warrior deck would give me a lot of cards I don't have.
Essentially you're able to buy the legendaries you want without spending your gold or dust which you'd want to save for future expansions.
It's just that the price tag is so high that I doubt anyone would ever really consider this unless they're just extremely loaded and just started to get into the game.
Probably not because that still has the snowballing effect.
I don't have a problem with a windfury minion that helps you get ahead on the board if paired with buffs, I just don't want a 2-mana "must kill or it snowballs to the point of complete dominance".
They removed Questing Adventurer from the Core set because of this, and yet Crabrider is allowed to just abuse every current and future buff card?
To be fair I havn't played or seen much of Dead Cells, because I prefear rogue-likes. But it seem to me that you can permanently upgrade Items which should make the game easier and as such classify it as a rogue-lite.
Ow. And here I thought they learned how to discount suitably old cosmetics. Adding the gold option is nice, but both that and cash price could've been adjusted to a lower amount as it started.
Here's a black-hearted Burgle Rogue list that honestly doesn't lose. It's actually TOO good since the only way I get to enjoy My Queen (she's a queen to me Shuckie bc in my mind we are happily married) is to string along the poor opponent to late game. Quest isnt necessary at all. It's just a ton of value and they'll have to pull the nuts to beat you. Gonna be dumbing it down into more control so I can enjoy it more.

I'm not sure for whom this offer is made for. Not for f2p, that's sure. But people who are spending money may already own most of the cards.
I bought the big pre order + battle pass and the only legendaries I don't own in those lists are the ones I disentchanted because of nerfs: Jandice, Kargal + Solarian.
try using King Jarvan III in your elites deck. If jarvan is alive and on the board, it is just a win and you know, elites are sticky units so there are always another units to make it more consistent with King Jarvan III.
Here is my decklist which includes King Jarvan III if you are interested in.
I'm warning you it is a salt thread so before you make your guard, i wanted to pre-warn you.
I am a bit salty, yes, but also i really think Atrocity is unhealthy for the game, I will explain why;
When the preview started for the first time, it was here with She Who Wanders. Control it until you find Atrocity then Atrocity to the face.
After that, There is They Who Endure decks which you may be know as Elise/Kalista. Same thing with more bodies. Control the game until you make a fat They Who Endure and find Atrocity. Then Atrocity to the face.
And then, we got our first expansion and Bilgewater. Then, there was those Nautilus decks. Control until you upgrade Nautilus, find it, then Atrocity to the face.
After that, we got another expansion and Targon. Then a new keyword Spellshield, -let's make atrocity harder to counter-. Find a big body which doesn't matter in which region, Aurelion Sol etc. Find them, then Atrocity to the face.
And now, Same strategy in different colors, Nasus thing-y. Make Nasus fat, find Atrocity and Atrocity to the face.
Don't get me wrong, I am not at losing but lose to same strategy with different colors bothers me so much. It will be same with new expansions. There will be always fat bodies, and Atrocity over and over again. I mean, it can't be nerfed, values are fair enough. I mean, mana cost for what it does but it is just boring for that much time. Same strategy over and over again. Something must be done before standard rotation happens because it won't be in near future.
I have just described it above but i want to repeat. It is fucking 5th time in different timelines of the game that a single card makes same archetype strategy/playstyle valid.
I don't know that people is ok or not with this but same shit different smell isn't really fun to play or play against for my tastes.
I think that Misterious Wildkin would be fine at 4 mana. At 6, it is much too overcosted in my opinion. A secret frenzy does sound like a great idea, but I'm not sure there's a meaningful choice with only 3 health. I would nearly always choose the deathrattle since it would easily die anyway. I also not a big fan with how clunky it reads at first and the amount of bolded text needed. I would take out "if this a" so it reads "Choose Deathrattle or Frenzy (Secretly)". Another possible suggestion is to go with the Fatespinner route, but with frenzy.
Barrens Black Drake is not bad, but I agree with demonxz95 that it is not very powerful.
As for Hungry Crocolisk, triggering frenzy is a conditional effect, unlike battlecry and deathrattle. Having a conditional effect on top of it makes this hard to use. I believe that frenzy effects should work in a vacuum, barring any situations such as empty boards or hands. That's why I made the card I added overload 1 to the card I submitted, to make the frenzy worth something without having to run other overload cards.
Wailor
I've seen a lot of spellburst cards with this type of effect, so this doesn't excite me that much personally. That being said, I still like both versions. I would go with the first one.
shatterstar1998
Thalnosshould probably say "Frenzy: Gain Spell Damage +1". I find it a little weird that he gives himself the frenzy effect but can't actually be triggered unless there's a buff to its health.
Explore the Barrens is very nice. Like a studies card, but instead of the discount, it guarantees value on the board
Im honestly thinking whether removing rush from it would be a sufficient nerf, so its only a good minion against control and fairly bad vs everything else.
In general, the deck lists don't seem to be publicly available. I know Hexenwitch and TheBlackBoss were 2 of the Shyvana decks; I was able to find their lists (below) and they are nearly identical. I wasn't able to find the other 2 but I would be surprised if they were significantly different.
The FAQ says "You’ll get those cards again as duplicates, which you can choose to disenchant if you’d like.", so you'll only get 400 dust per duplicate legendary.
A great solution would be to give duplicate legendaries as golden copies. Players who like bling could keep them, while other players could disenchant them for 1600 dust.
