I mean, it ain't no Kingsbane or Cutlass but it does have its appeal. Issue is, the moment a Rogue deck revolving around this weapon becomes popular is the moment it falls apart. If you fill your deck with poisons to take advantage of this weapon and then weapon removal becomes omnipresent to react to this, like third of your deck suddenly consists of garbage. Essentially, the success of this deck hingest almost entirely on it being niche, or rather, on weapons being niche as a whole. As soon as weapons start becoming even the slightest threat, you become collateral damage (one of the reasons Burgle Rogue with Cutlass is pretty much unusable in Wild...Kingsbane and Odd Rogues are rampant to force people into weapon removal and every Reno deck has on-demand weapon removal in Zephrys to boot).
I thought they had learnt a lesson after nerfing Galakrond's Rogue with the (0) discount, for that class at least. This is way too good of a card : 100% will see play
This can do some huge damage, especially if you can play multiple healing spells plus maybe hero power. I think I'll want some good deathrattles when I'm facing priest.
I like it, can be good for some kinda weapon control rogue and in standard right now you can buff it a lot with the right cards, but dont know if this is going to be better then SSS but lets see
Play this and SSS! Both work well with all of the poisons we have in Standard, so why not? It's a great card so long as you draw the support for it, which isn't so difficult with the few tutors that Rogue has at the moment.
the art and the character looks really cool. but I dont think the card would be that great since this is a 1 of that you gonna have to combo with other (prolly with a useless on its own card, like Desperate Prayer) card. its sad that when cool looking cards dont see play..
It's a great card and a good deal. Why not play it?
Or rather, is it worthwhile to play it and lose a deck slot for some 3-3 body? It's not likely that you'll always be able to use the full free 6 mana, after all. And it is a Combo card!
watch post cards have great stats for their cost. even though they cant attack, their effect will make your opponent want to destroy them, so they gonna have to fight with those great stats. therefore, I expect this archetype to work.
Its insane. This can't be bad. I don't know what else to say about this. Its going to be strong in any deck really. Not sure there is a deck that will say no to this.

This looks like it would stack with Preparation to get a potential 5 mana discount on a spell, alongside a 3 mana discount on something else. Rogue doesn't have many high cost spells to use this with, but it opens up a lot of space for big swing turns or OTKs.
I'm also liking the idea of using one of those discounts playing Potion of Illusion. Storing a 1 mana Scabbs for net +5 mana later can be pretty insane.
OK, so the meme player in me is now super excited about this little guy and the world of dumb combos he opens up.
New Rogue Weapon - Swinetusk Shank
infinite weapon boring, stop makeing rogue more uninteractive class
New Rogue Minion - Scabbs Cutterbutter
4 mana to get 6 mana, that's what rogue needed...

Lok'tar Ogar!!
Pd: I wish Saurfang to be neutral but anyway I am very happy he arrives to hearthstone. I was waiting for him long time ago
New Priest Minion - Xyrella

Meet the Mercenaries - All of Hearthstone's 10 Fresh Characters For Year of the Gryphon
if they have the same abilities in mercenary mode, then Guff and Bru'kan are really good together, Tamsim and Scabbs can do a good job together too

New Neutral Minion - Kargal Battlescar
I guess? This card lives or dies based on if watch posts are worth running.
Meet the Mercenaries - All of Hearthstone's 10 Fresh Characters For Year of the Gryphon
I agree with Varden. It always thought it was strange that fantasy worlds filled with transformation spells tend to have such strong gender divisions.
Firemancer Flurgl
As Swizard said under the main news reveal... Firemancer Flurgl + Toxfin = Poisonous AoE... PROFIT

I really dont like the mana cheating rouge decks. they can do so much in 1 turn. Edwin would love this btw.
New Paladin Spell - Conviction (Rank 1)
all I can think about is odd aggro paladin. this card gonna be bonkers in that deck
New Neutral Minion - Mor'shan Watch Post
watch post cards have great stats for their cost. even though they cant attack, their effect will make your opponent want to destroy them, so they gonna have to fight with those great stats. therefore, I expect this archetype to work.
this is the better watch post card imo btw
