Its incredible AoE potential but its mostly unplayable even out of discovers.
The main problem is that its gonna destroy your side of the board too, and that's something you really dont want to ever happen as a board based class. Even in non-board archetypes, this card still demands that you have something on board before it does anything.
So its best use is actually in big pally, and since youre likely to be behind most of the time anyway, I guess this card has some uses. But as a whole, Im not optimistic.
Basically its support for big pally, or some kind of combo deck that relies on specific minions.
So far we've not seen much indication that such a deck exist, and paladin doesnt exactly have the best sustain tools available. Cant help but feel this card wouldn't see much play despite its potential.
It is part of Mage's class identity though, and the HS team have repeatedly said that Casino Mage-style decks tend to be some of the most popular to play, regardless of the win rate being good or bad. So it's unsurprising that it would continue to be printed.

Keeper's Strength is definitely interesting, if nothing else. If buff Paladin akin to Libram Pally ever becomes a thing, this could be really fun in there, especially with Lynessa Sunsorrow, which becomes both a massive threat and a boardclear for 7 mana. As a standalone, it ain't awful but you need to be ahead on the board for it to do much, or need enough mana to play it alongside the target minion. AoE that requires board advantage is not exactly a great thing, so a proactive buff Paladin that's just trying to sweep away taunts/opposition so that it doesn't have to trade seems like the only viable option.
It's not quite as good as Innervate since you do need two mana open to play it and it only refreshes, which is a limitation that certainly hurt Lightning Bloom. It's also harder to tutor, harder to double, and harder to discount. In terms of mana refreshing, Funnel Cake is probably a little better even.
All that said, this will still definitely see play. Mana cheating is broken.
The most normal card from druid this set, and even then this card is pretty good, being 6/6 in total stats for 3 mana, plus developing a sticky minion.
Would it see play? Well, probably not. Because why settle for normal cards when half your collection is just OP.
Druid needs help, but again team5 just cant seem to print normal cards for druid, its always either going to be high as the heavens or in the deepest latrine in hell.
The only reason this card doesnt see play is that you want a more consistent Embrace of Nature, that's it. Getting this out of discover can immediately turn the tide, but more importantly you can play this on 4 and drop out double Crypt Keeper, and do 4 damage. Its like Feral Rage, except more toxic.
In wild its just another 0 mana spell, in a sea of 0 mana spells in the collection. At least this one is a bit testing because it drains all mana, not that druid hasnt have plenty of other ways to gain it again.
Team5 might be taking the piss here, because the condition is paltry and the effect is practically unnerfed innervate, for a class that cheats mana at every turn, and which is already pretty toxic to play against especially in wild.
Will it see play? Well, as long as the sky is blue and the sea is wet.
I personally cant see this card getting much play though it'll likely invite plenty of players to try.
Its not a bad card but triggering this card would mean practically playing a spell every turn, missing one of which might cost you the game. You're probably better off with more consistent AoE effects that dont leave the card dead in hand.
Not gonna lie, if your deck plays more than 10 spells consistent around turn 7 you'll likely just put this in your deck as a sort of psuedo Prison of Yogg-Saron that's infinitely easier to play and likely more consistent.
There is no real downside aside from consistency. You'll likely be seeing yogg in both competitive and meme because if theres one thing hearthstone has taught us is that randomness can sometimes just win you games, albeit aggravatingly undeserved. If prison of yogg can see play Ive no reason to assume this wouldn't.
There is a small chance that you can even base an entire deck just spamming tentacles and then yogg just grants you a whole hand of 1 mana random 10 mana spells. If this gets anyway consistent we might actually see a nerf, though it'll be funny if the tentacle gets nerfed because 1/3 of the entire set would then be refundable.
I like how team5 have pre-empted people just bouncing or copying yogg so his titan abilities are kinda weak for something so iconic in hearthstone and WoW history.
But that said, I'll be surprised if yogg doesnt just worm its way into just about any deck that's not aggro or a non-spell deck.
Wild gets a new otk every expansion. It doesn't mean it's going to be good. Actually it's one of the worst combos you can get with eonar and guff, there are much better options already. And yeah good luck getting to 20 mana in wild

Yogg seems surprisingly tame in terms of randomness. Pretty strong but 5 health means you're always getting one ability. Still worth it tho
